How I Choose The Stories (Criteria)

Hello! This is just an explanation for anyone who's wondering. But if you do not care, I'll still explain it anyway :P

There's no specific way on how I write my review. I write just what I feel. I mean, I am educated and all about writing a review or critique paper, but I prefer my style where I can express myself more. So sorry kung professional ka man na makukulangan sa reviews ko kung sakali.

Anyway, here are the major points or standards that I consider to choose a story to suggest:

1. It should be interesting and something that hooked me. I know there's a lot out there that are popular, but I only share about stories I like. Some may be popular, but what if I got bored with those and didn't continue reading? I can't make a review if I wasn't done reading it.

Unlike any other suggestions/recommendations books here on Wattpad, I don't give you a list on what stories you should read to become a Wattpader. I suggest books that are somehow a life changer. I choose the best of the best stories– hence, the title.

Because —

2. It should have an impact on my life and changed my way thinking. The purpose of this book was to share my feels about a certain story– how it affected me even with small details. I could only speak highly of the book if it caught my emotion, and other factors (vocabulary interest, brain, etc).

So it's like a platform I used to share my short sincere message of appreciation for the author. I wanted to give them credit for their hardwork, because they deserve it.

3. It should be relatable. You are a reader, I am a reader. Surely, even if we're a whole different person, some books made us feel the same thing.

There are specific genres or plots that a person wants in a story. And I aim to satisfy their want for it. I hunt books that'll satisfy my bookworm heart, too. Especially kung relatable sya. Kase iba ang magiging connection mo sa story na yon. You'll always have a soft spot on that story you'll find relatable.

4. It should be read-worthy. Is it worth our time? Hindi ba ako magsasayang ng oras dyan? Ito ba yung pinagpupuyatan?

Sa panahon ngayon, sobrang busy naten kaya hindi pwedeng masayang ang oras. We have to make it count. Even in leisure, we have to make it count not only to save time, but our energy. Nag-effort ka magbasa, di naman worth it. Let's face it readers, at some point we all experienced that.

Also, if it is read-worthy, it should be worthy to share to others. To recommend it. Because that is the evidence we enjoyed a book. When we talked about how we felt through the reading process. Thus, this book.
