Epistolary Series by TheCatWhoDoesntMeow

Genre: Romance, Chicklit, Humor, Drama, Teen Fiction

Review: All of these stories start so lightly. Given that everything starts in chats/texts. Papakiligin ka ng bongga ng parang teenager. Makes you want to have that light kilig factor in your life, too. But as the story goes by, unti-unting nagiging masakit. Everything is deep. You witness them grow. Grow from their pain and mistakes. Until they have matured to the best version of themselves.

And all of the characters are study goals. Sobrang taas ng mga academic achievements nila. Nakakainspire talaga. Andun yung emphasis ng importance ng pag-aaral sa isang tao, sa identity ng isang tao. To think na puro related sa Med or any branch of Science, which is I know na mahirap, matagal, nakakapagod, nakaka-stress with all their research, responsibilities, experiments, and such. Call me a nerd, but I love it when they use certain terminologies that is something related to their profession. Nakaka-talino e hahah😂

Everything is also beautifully written. So kahit na doctor ang mga trolls, dito ko lang talaga nagustuhang magka-jowa ng doktor! Hahaha. I also loved every format used in the story :) Sobrang experimental and flexible lang para sakin so thumbs up and very appreciated, Miss Author!  Whenever I want to feed my heart, I always go back to these stories. I'm in love with her definition of love :)

Stories

** Day Books are the complementary/companion narrative book for the epistolary stories.

#1: Invisible Girl (Completed)

An invisible girl. A popular boy. And the exchange of messages between them. #Epistolary | Young Adult | Romance

* Invisible Girl : Days to Remember (Day Book)

I used to write days and days of vivid memories. Until I completely stopped. But then, one day, I was saved by someone who teased my memory. These are the days I remember of us together. These are the days I don't ever want to forget. - Jenessy Alfonso

[Very fun and very light to read. If you lack that nightly kiligs and lovelife adventures or perfectly in a relationship with someone, nakakarelate 'to. Every time may nakaka-thrill o nakakakilig na nangyayare, legit na nahihirapan ako huminga! Hahahah. Sobra akong kinikilig. Kahit na ba uso na ang ganyang set-up ngayon, we always wish na sana ganun din support and understanding while communicating, or hoping na di tayo mahopia o ma-seenzoned at mapansin din ni crush.]

#2: Goodbye Girl (Completed)

Goodbyes. Hellos. A persistent girl. A troublesome guy. A crazy love. And the exchange of messages between them.

Helga Lastimosa's story | 2nd installment of the Epistolary Series for Team Trolls

* Goodbye Girl: Days to Forget (Day Book)

I fell in love. An unimaginably naive and crazy love. These were the days I tried to forget. - Helga Lastimosa

[Hands down. This story got me into tears. Forbidden loves are painful, after all. This felt longer and more mature than the first story. This story is plain goals lalo na sa ending! Nakakainspire tuloy. :)

Things are meant to be in the right time and in the right place. It teaches us to set our priorities first but do not torture yourself with the pain and choose what makes you happy. Either sa love, career choice, family o friendship pa yan. :) What I freaking loved the most is yung Confessions at the end! Andun kase yung reflections nila sa sarili and it is so moving. A love like that please?]

#3: Fallback Girl (Completed)

A girl, hoping. A boy, waiting. Unsent messages. Unsaid thoughts. Unanswered love. Pretentions. And all the unwelcomed feelings in between.   Jeric Teodoro's story. 3rd Installment of the Epistolary Series. For Team Trolls.

Fallback Girl: Days to Fall (Day Book)

I didn't see you coming... so when you hit me hard and I fell off-balance, I thought I could still escape. But you're my inevitable fall. - Hannah Aldea Milano

[Umpisa pa lang, pasabog na! Hayst. Lab et ❤ dito ako pinaka-nakakarelate hahahah]

#4: Girl of Never (Completed)

A love found. A love lost. A love denied. An awaited chance to love again.

Harry Lastimosa's story. 4th and last installment of my Epistolary Series. For Team Trolls.

* Girl of Never : Days to Love (Day Book)

He is the universe. - Jianna Arcenas

[If you already read the three epistolary novels, you'll be shocked here at the start. I love the twist the author gave us, unexpected, sad, yet thrilling-aka mixed emotions. This one gave me another definition of love. Masakit, pero worth it. Sa kanila ata yung pinaka-mabigat. And my my most favorite in this series! The most mature one kase.]
