Trubel's POV

"Are we doing this, or what?" I asked.

I was sick of sitting in this dumb car, thinking about how I had ruined my life.

"Yeah," Andre said, irritated.

"Okay...?" I said hesitantly. No one had moved. "How am I supposed to do anything for you if my babysitters have me stuck between them?"

"Guys," Andre said. "Get out, look around."

We were in a newer Mustang with dark-tinted windows, custom rims, and a custom paint job. Dwaine got out of the passenger seat and folded it down. Bruno could climb out easily, but Orion had to climb over me. He tripped and landed on my lap. I grabbed the back of his pants to slide him off me in the direction of the door. I "miscalculated" and Orion smashed his face on the side of the car.

Orion groaned before scrambling out of the car on his hands and knees. He quickly rose to his feet and glared at me with yellow eyes. I smiled and waved at him. He tried to jump back into the car in my direction, but Bruno grabbed him before he could.

"Not now," Bruno said.

Dwaine folded the seat back up and got back in the car.

"This car is ridiculous," I said.

"Hey!" Dwaine said. "Don't be hating on the 'Stang."

"I wouldn't be hating if I weren't a doormat for everyone who tried to get in and out of this stupid thing," I complained.

"Guys, enough," Andre said to silence us.

In a few minutes, Bruno and Orion came back and told us that there were a few Yaguaraté in an ally a few blocks away from us. They were tagging the walls of an abandoned building.

Dwaine got out of the car and folded his seat down, again. He held out his hand to help me out of the car, but I didn't take it.

"Good luck," Dwaine said.

"Don't screw up," Andre warned me.

I nodded and walked off with Orion and Bruno.

I was kind of conflicted over what I was supposed to be doing. I was going to corner some Yaguaraté gang members in an alley so I could kill them alongside Orion and Bruno. I wasn't exactly a murderer; I usually only killed people who gave me a reason, and right now those people should be Andre and his gang.

But, if I didn't do what they wanted, I would set the entire gang on Nick, his friends, and his family. I couldn't do that either. I had a deal to hold up.

I guess I was becoming a murderer. I didn't really have a choice. I would be resisting more if I didn't think the Crew members had killed a few people themselves.

We found them in the alley that Bruno and Orion said they were in. I was the first to walk around the corner and see them.

"Who are you?" one man asked curiously. He didn't sound angry, he sounded kind of happy.

Shouldn't they be mad that two other guys and I had cornered them in an alley? I looked behind myself and saw Bruno and Orion running away. Orion turned his back and waved goodbye to me with a grin on his face.

Great. They left me to kill three Yaguaraté by myself. Those jerks were supposed to help me.

"I'm no one," I said and started walking away. Maybe they would just let me leave.

"Hey, where do you think you're going?" another man asked. He ran in front of me to block my escape. I backed away from him and ended up bumping into someone behind me. I jumped to the side and had my back pressed against a wall. The three Yaguaraté were watching me like I was something to eat.
