The rain woke me up. It was freezing cold in my bedroom.
I stretched and sat up staring through the tiny sliver of the blue velvet curtains. The weather had changed since last week.
And I don't mean just a temperature drop. But the right word would be that it was Drastically different.
"Prince Armand?" I heard the maiden call my name.
"Yes Silovia."
She pursed her lips at me. I realized I had no shirt on and my trousers weren't clamped.
I sighed and wrapped the cover around me.
"There's a woman here for you."
She bowed after speaking
"Okay. I'll be right down."
I couldn't help but stare at her tight corset. I felt myself getting hotter as I stared at her.
"Thank you sir." She bowed and walked out of the room.
Oh what wouldn't I do to that girl..
I laughed to myself and got out of bed. I took a quick shower.
I walked down the stared shaking my hair and got to the end of the stair case with my sister Adaline staring at me in disaproval and my brother Alander smirking at me.
"Hello Niece, and Nephews." The older woman bowed to us.
"Aunt Yila" I said smiling
"Lets sit?" Alander said and we all did that at the large table in the dining room. "So what is it you needed us for?"
Alan was bothered already. I could tell.
"Your cousin. She's ran off." Yila spoke with a rough course voice. As if she struggled to speak at a normal tone of voice.
"Figures." Adaline mumbled as the echoes of crying babies echoed through the castle halls. "Welp. That's my call." She smirked at us and got up.
She had infant twins. That's all she cared about was her babies and the father Gallen. He also lived here.
"So what is it you need us for? It's just Evigt."
"She's 16. Her wedding is next Friday Morn."
"Is it that surprising she ran off? She doesn't want marry him." Alander said "she's 16. She'll either come back or keep going where she wants to be."
"No.. you guys don't realize we need her here. She's important." Yila insisted.
"When did she flee Emerson?" I asked
"Last Sunday evening. We had Lucian, her husband to be.. and once we sent him home she was gone." Yila's eyes were watering up.
"Okay. Here's the deal. We'll go look for her. But only if you tell me something." Alander sat back in his seat. "Why is she that important?"
"She's my daughter. You're cousin! You should be marrying her for Peet's sake!" She exclaimed
"Listen, you know how I feel about marriage." I watched my brother go on with Yila.
"Ill go." I interrupted the argument between them.
"Oh you will?!" Yila hugged me
"Yes."
I said. It felt like my mouth had dried out. As if I just sealed something I shouldn't have.
"QèOh my nephew. You just saved us all."
