"Eh. Argh. Frig. Damnit!" Marik threw his fists against the arcade system, pre-loaded with hundreds of games.
However, only one worked—Gain Ground, Japanese version.
Despite being a two-player game, only one of the control sides worked. Thus, Bakura was on Marik's arse about how he should've been playing.
"Use the sniper, Marik, sniper!"
助けて flashed above the in-danger CPU.
"The frig does that mean?" Marik yelled.
Bakura kicked the old, falling apart frame, wood crying out in reply.
The screen Marik was screaming at flickered, then went black. "Bakura, you broke it!" he said, flipping the on/off switch for the screen several times. Nothing.
"Piece of crap anyway," Bakura said roughly. "We don't even need it."
Marik sighed, kicking it for good measure. It stayed blank.
Then buzzed back alive.
"Yay!" Marik pounced, now loving the old thing, while his lover snorted at his lost chance to screw Marik.
助けて means save me, and is pronounced "das-keh-teh," spelled in romaji as dasukete.
Taking Japanese as my required foreign language did pay off. . .!
