eventually everyone but bill drifted off to sleep, the soft sounds of the television playing in the background. bill lay awake, not wanting to sleep. if he feel asleep, he was sure that nightmares would envelope him and he might cause a scene. everyone looked so peaceful laying strewn around the room. and besides, while he was awake, he could stare at his beautiful, serene richie tozier.
