while bill was getting richie, the other losers had rushed down the rocky path leading to the water and were all standing on the shore. "bill! bill!" mike screamed. "over here!"
the whole gang was whooping and hollering once richie burst out of the water, but fell silent once they saw that he was blacked out.
ben dove into the water to help bill out with richie, and soon richie was laying on the pebbled shore.
"he's not breathing! he's not breathing!" eddie was shrieking, tears running down his face.
"eddie! eds! i n-need you to c-calm down and help r-richie." bill shook eddie's shoulders and focused eddie.
"okay, okay. i can do this."
