This prologue is just the more shortened story of the legend behind the main story. The kingdom does not correspond with the story but some details do coexist with the main story.

Note:
This prologue contains minimal detail about the legend as for the rest will be revealed later on in the main story.

So this prologue may seem rushed and lacking detail, but that's because I wanted to keep the main details out that will be explained later on. I want you guys to earn your way into the main details.

Many years before the world's night shine existed and shadows were never such fear, there was a corrupted kingdom called Searfall. Moonlight has never touched the land of Searfall with its nights as black as the darkest raven. Queen Izrail, a cunning and ambitious ruler, set up systems of child labor and slavery as a result of her fueling greed for power. Children and adults lived separately, as when a child was born, they were taken away to a child labor facility, Arm's Dawn or Arm's Dusk, where their lives of grueling survival began. The children were set at the facility, merely to break instead of mend, with their fate being left to depend solely on their place of birth.

There was the East Side, West Side, and the Central. East Side children were taken to Arm's Dawn to undergo the construction of the Imperial Castle whilst serving the queen who lived within the stone walls. West Side children were taken to the Searfall Plantation to work and produce the kingdom's stock. The Central children were to be raised as the citizens of Searfall. A life without labor or pain; a lucky blessing for all who are born Central. Arm's Dawn and Dusk children, after serving 16 years, were fated to serve the queen till death set them free. That is if the chemicals and malnutrition didn't get to them first. Most found it a blessing to part the world early, as life was too unbearable.

One night on the estranged raven, the first ever moon was seen. The crescent moon peeked out of the folds of the dark sky, revealing itself to the kingdom, leaving everyone in awe. And on that same night, five children were born: Mikaila, Khad, Rhea, Neo, and Juna. As the crescent moon's first children, the moonlight that shone on them upon birth, gave them powers that could empower the brightness that is yet to exist in the night. But the crescent moon had not returned ever since.

But upon seeing the crescent moon, Queen Izrail was enraged. Sickened by her egotistical and selfish mindset, she believed that the moon was the first sign of her collapse as ruler and that the witness of that moon will carry on its power to overthrow her. Therefore, anyone who was seen witnessing the crescent moon perished under the queen's order. And very quickly, like a dash of sound, Searfall was underpopulated from genocide.

Mikaila, Khad, and Rhea were born in East Side, and Neo and Juna were born in West Side as time slowly named them the Five Aeons.

At the peak age of twelve, the children managed to escape the grasp of Queen Izrail by using the gift of their powers and ran off far away towards the far, far outskirts of Searfall that were yet to be inhabited and were found by the Solar Rebellion: the descendants of the sun. Calling themselves a "roura", they were blessed with powers by the sun and sought to liberate the people of Searfall from their lives of oppression.

Seven years later, the Five Aeons return back to their cursed homeland, that had not brightened up any more than it has seven years earlier. They fought their way inland, to face the queen that had devastated the lives of millions.

Mikaila, the roura of energy and restoration was one to impair Queen Izrail of her strength and energy.

Khad, the roura of curse and ice was one to pierce his cold ice sword into the queen's even colder heart.

Rhea, the roura of shapes and the future was one to predict the queen's fate.

Neo, the roura of light and mirth was one to shine light into Searfall's dark night skies.

Juna, the roura of punishment and fire was one to punish Izrail's soul by containing it in a cursed mana crystal that was cursed by Khad.

Neo's shining rays pierced through the night skies, letting the moon pass through it, making the night brighter with moonlight. The crystal that contains the soul of Queen Izrail, is now called the Izrail Stone.

After the queen's death, her reign was no more. Therefore, another queen or king was not to be elected and that everyone should live equally and as best as they can in harmony. The Five Aeons created an organization called, Crescent. The team contained rouras and Centrals who's mission was to keep the balance between roura and human life equal. The Five Aeons went on with their lives as they themselves had their own children. But after having a child of their own, they were converted to Gods and Goddesses for their bravery and for being the first children of the crescent moon, and now exist in a third reality to watch their descendants grow.

The legend of the Five Aeons and the powerful Rouras still live on today.
