25th of April
She remembered that day all too well.
That day, before school,
Her mother had suddenly hugged her,
Crying onto her shoulder, and said,
I will always love you, no matter what you do or say.
She felt disgusted by those words and pushed her mother away.
She felt indifferent to the tears, pouring
Endlessly down her mother's cheeks.
She just walked through the door and slammed it behind her.
She never thought she'd regret those actions.
