This is my second year at college, and everything was going fine, everything was quiet, I liked quiet. The joys of being an art major – I didn't have to talk to anyone.

Oh, sorry reader, did author-nim forget to tell you that I can't talk? I'm not deaf, nor am I a mute, I just... can't talk – but I guess we'll all find out why later on, you just have to keep reading...

Nobody in my class even tried to talk to me after our first day together, when it came to doing introductions our teacher had informed them I couldn't talk – they all thought I was mute, so they never tried talking to me. I didn't have friends because of the fact. I was always more comfortable on my own anyways.

"Okay class so today I want you to leave the classroom, taking your art supplies with you, and create an art piece using whatever media type you want, and show me by the end of the week, so yes, there will technical be no classes this week as you will be working outside of the classroom", Mrs. Lee announced. There was a mixture of groans and sighs. You'd think we'd be happy to not be in class, right? Wrong, 80% of the class were males who all had the hots for their teacher, so not seeing her for a week would most likely drive them crazy.

I gathered up my things and left the classroom, silently. I walked down the halls pondering where I should go for my artwork. What should the subject be? "Look out", I hear a voice not sure of what it says as I'm busy thinking to myself. Somewhere outdoors? "MOVE", the muffled voice says again. What if...

CRASHHHH!!

I'm caught off guard when I walk straight into someone, losing all train of thought, both of us falling to the floor and my supplies scattering everywhere. "YAH, don't you have eyes?! Watch where you're going!", a male yelled at me. I flinched at the sound, immediately feeling stupid for not watching what I was doing.

I don't even think before I quickly stand up and offer him my hand to help him up, he reluctantly takes it and as he stands I feel like he's towering above me scowling at me. I offer him the most apologetic look I can before I bend down to start picking my scattered things up. As I'm collecting everything he begins to talk, "Wow, so you're not even going to say sorry? You're the one who bumped into me, I did call out to you tell you to watch out the way", that's when I noticed the skateboard in his hand. Shit it was my fault.

"Seriously? You're not even sorry?", He huffed in disbelief, then his friend next to him nudges his arm as if to tell him to stop, I recognise his friend as someone from my class – Jimin I think his name is, Park Jimin. I stand up when I have everything and face the brunette. "Are you seriously not even going to ask if I'm okay?", he asks with a prominent disapproving tone in his voice. I feel bad, and I want to tell him I'm sorry, I'm so sorry, but I just can't...

"Hey, Jungkook... Leave it... she's...", I heard Jimin saying to his friend, I ignored what he was saying and quickly grabbed a pen and some paper, and which shaky hands I quickly scribbled 'I'm so sorry it was my fault, I hope you aren't hurt', I looked up at the guy, this time I was on the verge of tears, and shoved the note to his chest before I quickly passed him to prevent embarrassing myself further.

How could I be so stupid. I can't bump into people like that. Come on Yuna, you know it only upsets you when you can't talk to people, especially at moments like this. Pabo. Pabo. Pabo.

I was just skating down the hall and this chick walked into me despite my warnings, "Hey, Jungkook... Leave it... She's...", I could hear Jimin saying, but before he could finish she looked up at me again, her eyes... her eyes were teary? She shoved a note into my chest and ran off, and I could've sworn I saw a tear roll down her cheek...

'I'm so sorry it was my fault, I hope you aren't hurt', that's what her note read, "What does it say?", Jimin asked, I showed him the note, "Woah, I didn't expect her to even write anything, she's never even tried to communicate with anyone before, not even like this", he seemed shocked. "What do you mean? Why didn't she just talk?", I asked, confused and intrigued by the strange girl.

"There's a weird story about her that I don't really know whether to believe or not...", he started off, seemingly uncomfortable about the topic, as we walk down the hallway out of the building I ask him to tell me, "Well, I'm not sure where the rumour came from, but I do feel like there could be some truth behind it, but I don't think it's as extreme as whoever made it up says it is", he sighed rubbing a hand over his face for a moment. When we reached outside we sat at a bench.

"The rumour says that she killed her family, but it wasn't really her, she was brainwashed or something. And when the authorities found out they did thorough questioning, realising she was actually traumatised and it really wasn't her, they decided to put her into the witness protection programme. They concluded she was a victim of one of the most traumatic things someone could've been through – especially at such a young age – and she never spoke a word after that", I looked at him, totally stunned, that wasn't what I was expecting.

"That's... intense man", I felt bad for how I spoke to her earlier, regardless if the rumour was true or not, she clearly doesn't speak, and I made her feel bad for not saying anything. "What's her name?", I asked him, "Yuna, Min Yuna", he replied. Min Yuna I will apologise for being so harsh next time I see you.

-Yuna P.O.V-

I walked around campus for a while wondering if I would be able to find inspiration here, but I wasn't really having any luck so far. Then I saw him. I froze. He promised... He promised he wouldn't come here...
