Chapter 1:Beauty

Here are the characters backgrounds.

Belle- Main Character

Belle is 16, and the youngest. 

Maurice is the oldest in the house, at 35. He still mourns the death of his wife, Isabella, who died while giving birth to Belle. He is all a father should be, putting his kids before himself.

Claudia-Her Sister

She and Laura are 17.Claudia is shallow and materialistic, along with Laura. 

Laura- Her Sister

She and Claudia are 17.Both Laura and Claudia have hostile attitudes toward Belle.

Cole-Her brother

Twins with Jayden, both are 18. Belle calls him 'CC'. He's the sweetest brother, always trying to avoid problems and resolve conflict. Although he never gets angry, when he does, has a pretty nasty temper.

Jayden-Her brother

Twins with Cole, both are 18. Just as good-looking as Cole, but he uses his looks. He's a typical player, but not many people get a glimpse at his caring side. Belle calls him Jay-Jay.

Daniel-Her Brother

He's 19.Daniel is the eldest son. He spent the most time with Isabella, and grieves her more than his siblings. Along with Cole and Jayden, they are her extremely overprotective brothers. Belle calls him Danny.

I yawned, turning the page in my book. I was enthralled with the 'Mortal Instruments' series, they were amazing. I flipped a page in 'City of Lost Souls', captivated. I heard a thump, and then the sound of running coming down the stairs. "BELLE! BELLE HELP ME PLEASE! COLE IS AFTER ME!" I sighed, than looked up from my book.

 "Jayden, what did you do to the poor guy?" I asked him. 

He came into view, sheepishly smiling than shrugged. I narrowed my eyes at him, and when I heard another pair of footsteps, my eyes trained back to the stairs. There was Cole, with pink hair. I brought my hand up to my mouth, trying to hide my laughter but failing.

 Cole rolled his eyes, and my laughter busted out. "How- you- hair- pink-" In between each word I had to take a breath, and then once I saw his face, another round of laughter came through. When I finally was done, he was even more furious than before.I turned around to face Jayden trying to cower behind me, and I high fived him with a smile on my face.

 "Belle, you're supposed to be on MY side!" Cole whined behind me. I rolled my eyes, than began to assess the situation.

 I looked back and forth at the two, before saying, "Okay, so my guess is, Cole stole a girl from you or something so you decided to make him pay by dying his hair pink, but, being the idiot you are, forgot to hide the bottle of hair dye. That means that you probably still have the hair dye from Halloween when you went as Will Smith from Men in Black, and Cole wants it to die his hair back, AND THEN kill you."

They looked at each other, before nodding a "yeah," and "pretty much". I sighed, a smile on my face as I shook my head at the boys. I turned to Jayden. "Jayden you can't keep dying people's hair different colours when they mistreat you. This is the third time it happened to Cole, and sooner or later, he's going to get revenge on you."
