Justin's POV
Well it's been about a week since Selena and I went out for breakfast and were caught by the paps. Of course, there's no way to be sneaky around them, it's almost impossible.
It was nice being out with her though, considering it's been a while since we've actually sat down and talked. I mean we did keep in contact while she went through her kidney transplant and well, now I'm here to cheer her up after her most recent break up.
Break up, yes break up, her and Abel dated for a while which deep down killed me. They've been broken up for, I'd say a little over a month or so. But to be honest she seems to be taking it very well. Saying "Abel and I were more than friends and continue to be good friends. We just weren't right for each other." Her words not mine.
Anyways, I'm on my way to pick her up because we're going to church together. Goal is not to be seen. It's not even that we don't want to be seen together, but our fans cause so much unnecessary drama it's a pain in the ass to go out with each other. I wish people would just see that we're both grown, more wise and are a lot better and healthier. We aren't the same people we use to be back a couple years ago.
As I pulled up into her driveway and waited for her gate to open I noticed the paps were already here. I rolled my eyes and pulled in the rest of the way, parking my car.
Selena's POV
I smiled to myself as I watched Justin park and start to walk towards my door. I got up from my couch and walked to my door, opening it.
"Jay!" I beamed, wrapping my arms around his body.
"Hey Sel" he chuckled a bit, wrapping his arms around my waist bringing me into a big hug. "Are you ready to go?" He asked looking down at me.
I nodded. "Yes, lets go!"
We walked out together, got into his car and made our way to Hillsong. As the service went on, I couldn't help myself but to stare at him sometimes. Just little glimpses. I know that sounds creepy, but don't tell me you've never just looked at someone you love so much just because. Yes I love him, always have and always will. He'll always have a huge place in my heart.
It angers me that the media makes it seem like we're faking everything for publicity and that we haven't changed since we were teens. That we're still the same immature, trouble making teenagers. We've both grown as people and everything that has happened in the past year has just brought us closer and back together.
As the service finished up Jay and I made our way back to the car.
"That was really good, I'm glad we went together" jay nudged my arm a little and gave me a smile.
"Always is. But yes, I'm happy we did." I smiled back, going around the car to the passenger side. "What's the plan now?" I asked, buckling myself up.
"Well, we could go back to your place or my place. Whatever you want to do." He said starting up the car and waited for an answer.
"Your place sounds good?" I looked over at him, shrugging slightly. I had no idea what to do but I wanted to spend time with him. Wasn't exactly ready to head back home yet.
"Alright, my place it is." He laughed slightly and began to drive to the nearest ice cream place.
It still blows my mind that this is happening. I never thought that we'd get this close again. I've missed him so much. I wonder what goes through his mind and if he feels the same about this.
