Her Love

8 2 1

After a long and tiring day,
There's nothing like the love of a mother,
To bring a sense of peace and comfort, and
Make everything seem better.

Her warm embrace and loving words,
Are a balm to my weary soul, and
When I sit down at the dining table,
I feel my worries start to unfold.

For there's nothing quite like the love of a mother,
To heal the wounds and ease the pain, and
In her embrace, I find solace, and
Love that will always remain.

So when the day gets tough, and
I need a little pick-me-up,
I turn to the one person,
Who always fills my cup.

P.S. For my mother, Lisa.
