In the sea, I see the waves, and
A beautiful day comes to a close.
But I'm still far from the shore, adrift.
I am drifting on the water as the sun sets.
I watch as the sky turns orange and pink,
The waves rock me gently as I think
About all that I am grateful for,
As the day ends,
I am at peace and never a bore.
