"Hey guys. How is lunch going?" Maria says starring at Ethan.
"Why are you all of a sudden talking to us. You never liked us?" Noor said annoyed.
"I like Ethan. He's super cute." She said trying to kiss him on the cheek. Ethan backed away.
Maria leaves. We leave and go home. Noor and Grayson went to their house to study. It was just Ethan and I at my house.
"I have some homework I need to finished." I said.
"We can do it together if you want. If that's not weird." Ethan said, scratching the back of his neck.
"Sure, we can do it in the living room if you want." I said putting my bags in the living room.
We started on homework.
"I'll be right back." I said going up the stairs.
*She comes back and her eyes are red.*
"Bryleigh, what's wrong?" Ethan said as he stood up
"Nothing. Im fine." I said as I messed with my hair.
"I know your not ok. I can tell." Ethan said grabbing my hand.
"It's just I was thinking about how when I was little, my mom used to sit in the living room and help me with my homework. We did it together every night." I said with a sniffle.
"I'm sorry Bryleigh." Ethan said. It looks as if he was thinking of hugging me.
"Thanks Ethan." I said trying to smile.
"For what? I didn't do anything." He said.
"For everything." I said.
Ethan starts to tickle me.
"Stop Ethan. That tickles...." I said laughing.
"What's the magic word?" Ethan says.
"Please????" I said, still being tickled.
Ethan stops. "No, it's Pickles." Ethan says in a 'duh' time.
We laugh and finish our homework.
