You know, when I moved here from New York, I was expected to be swarmed by tons of people. Oh how wrong was I...? My parents thought it would be a great idea to move to this small town, but I've been here for less than half a week and I already hate it. It's hot and humid here, but I guess that's Florida for ya. I swear I'm growing moss on my skin.... Anyway, back to what I was saying. The students avoided me like the plague. Guess they could smell the city on me and didn't like foreigners. Well, I say foreigners, but I mean.... What do I mean...? Nevermind. It's beside the point. Fact is, they're avoiding me and it's driving me nuts! As I walked to my next class, I noticed some kid get shoved into a locker. He had black hair which covered most of his face, wasn't really able to see any other facial features.
I rolled my eyes then crossed my arms. "I see the bullying problem is just as bad here as it is up North...." I growled.
The dude who was pinning the poor emo kid snapped his head towards me. "What the fuck is it to you?"
I sucked in my teeth. "Didn't your mother ever teach you manners?"
"You got quite a mouth."
"Brooklyn." I responded. "Now, let the dude go before you make me angry."
"Oh is that so? What are you gonna do?"
I took a few steps closer to him then smirked, brushing his red hair out of his face. "This." I growled, punching him in the stomach then slamming his head into a locker. "You know, I never caught your name. I'm Connor."
"Piss off."
"Nice to meet you, Piss Off. Now, this is how it's gonna work, you will leave this guy alone. Otherwise, I will come visit you again. Bullying is quite shameful and really pisses me off."
"Fuck you."
"Not even in your dreams. You wouldn't be able to please me well enough." I heard the emo kid chuckle and I smiled. "Now get outta here."
Piss Off got up rather quickly then walked away, pinching his nose to keep the blood from escaping. Oops.
"Thanks, but I could've handled it." The emo dude frowned.
"Didn't look like it to me." I held my hand out. "Connor Stewarts."
He took my hand and shook it. "I'm Colby Usher. Nice to meet you."
"Likewise. You know, you really should've done something; a good punch in the jaw would make him run away with his tail in between his legs."
He bit his lip and looked down at his shoes. "Yeah, I know.... You didn't have to do that."
"I know I didn't have to. I wanted to. I hate bullying with a burning passion. Don't sweat it." I assured him with a smile.
Now that I was closer, I could see his bright blue eyes and lip piercing. He was actually quite attractive. I mean, I'd bang him if my anxiety wouldn't make me go into panic mode with sex. Kinda embarrassing, really....
"Hey! You!" A deep voice shouted from down the hall.
I turned to find a rather pissed off jock heading my way. "Me?" I asked, innocently.
"I hear you gave my brother trouble."
I looked at him with a deadpanned expression. "Well, he should've kept his hands to himself. I was only protecting my friend, Colby, here."
He folded his arms. "I've never seen you around here. You new here?"
Wow. Bipolar much? "Just moved here, actually. I'm Connor Stewarts. Tell Piss Off to start telling the full story when he goes crying back to his big brother." I said with a bored tone.
