It was early in March in Los Angeles, California and Olive Kim was staying with a friend when she got a call from the hospital. "I'm very sorry to tell you this, but your parents have been killed in a car crash." The phone call lasted all of thirty seconds before 17 year old Olive collapsed to the floor in shock. Her life had been flipped upside down completely.
In Korea, Choi Young Do was in the kitchen cleaning dishes like normal. School had started back recently and he had already fallen into his routine even without his father with him. He had recently found his mother and just thinking about going to her house later that night for dinner made him feel happy. Even though his life had just fallen apart he could feel it slowly being pulled back together with the start of school and the finding of his mother.
