Trigger Warning: Suicide

Colourful flower beds.

An orange-pink sky.

Slightly chapped lips.

Oversized sweaters.

Everything about the world was so peaceful.

Silent.

There lay a boy,

On the soft ground in the middle of autumn.

The grass underneath him pushed down,

Leaving an indent of where his body laid.

Safe in the seclusion of this flower field,

The boy laid there with his eyes closed.

Taking in all the things surrounding him.

The light breeze.

Birds chirping, singing their song.

Everything was so spectacular and nice about the moment right now.

If only everything was okay inside.

It has been one year.

One year since the boy's love of his life committed.

He was faced with feeling unworthy,

Being gay was a bad thing.

Looking up to the sky,

Vik started talking to the boy.

"I'll see you soon, okay?"

His heart rate increased as he picked up the serrated blade he had stolen from his kitchen.

Taking the blade by the handle Vik turned the sharp edge towards his stomach.

No one was here to stop him so he kept going.

Slowly pushing the point of the knife into his stomach, the blade beginning to be engulfed by Vik's small figure.

Pulling out the blade, Vik remained still in the soft grass and flowers covering his body.

He was bleeding out but there was no pain.

Vik's eyes went wide as he a bright light was presented to him.

The boy he loved descending, reaching his hand out for Vik to take.

Taking his last breath on Earth, Vik grasped the boy's hand and it was done.

Vik was finally with his love. No restrictions.

Proving all the people that doubted him wrong, Vik and JJ flew into the light of Heaven.

Despite all the hate, they went to Heaven and laughed as they entered the pearly gates.

Still holding each other, JJ planted a kiss on Viks cheek, making him flush a light shade of pink.

The afterlife was peaceful, something Vik had been craving for since JJ died.

Peace.
