I'm finishing up my makeup when my mom yells it's time to go. I apply one last coat of my strawberry lip gloss, straighten my skirt, and spray one last squirt of my warm vanilla sugar perfume.

I grab my stuff and literally trip over my own feet as I'm trying to run/walk down the stairs. I get into the car and instantly start to hyperventilate, I was so scared yet so excited. My mom looked at me with a smile, "Honey it's gonna be okay I promise, you'll have fun." she says with her 100 dollar smile. Yeah I sure hope so.

We pull into the drive way of Southwestern High School and I think my brain stopped working because I couldn't breathe. "Aria for the last time, call down. You'll do great you always do." she says grabbing my hand in hers. "Thanks mom." I say giving her a quick hug before I'm soon out of the door and waving goodbye.

Breathe Aria, Just breathe

I was given a map of the school when we registered here but I had absolutely no clue how to use one.

"Screw it" I mumbled as the bell rang for classes to be dismissed. Kids pour out of the classroom like they've been in their for weeks doing nothing but listening to lectures. I keep walking and soon pass these teenage giant walking trees pass me and I soon felt like I was an ant.

Ugh what the hell was I gonna do? I start walking and turning the map one way and another when I bump into something hard, definitely human. My belongings instantly crass onto the floor and I soon feel my face turn as red as a tomato.

"Are you fucking blind? Did you not see me walking here?" an angry voice growls. I look up and my gaze meets with the most gorgeous brown eyes I've ever had the pleasure of looking at. But then it dawns on me that he was one of the walking trees I saw earlier with nothing but broad shoulders and a scowl.

Man, such a gorgeous guy with such a bad attitude. Maybe if they wouldn't walk in line I could've easily walked around them and not draw attention to myself. But now it seemed I have.
