The loud and annoying sound of my alarm clock pounded through my ears as I rolled my eyes and thought that it was my first day at another school in the past month. Yes, I literally move every time my mother can get her hands on a nice neighborhood with a school close by.

I get out of my bed, even though it's telling me to stay in it's warm and comfortable embrace. I tie my curly hair up into a ponytail as I walk downstairs. Once I hit the bottom step the strong smell of coffee hits my nose and it burns like hell. I absolutely hate coffee, can't stand it. How do people wake up and drink four or five cups a day?

"The princess is finally awake from her beauty sleep, and ready to tackle her first day of senior year. Are you excited? She asks while stirring the sugar and cream into her so called "energy drink" I look at her and shrug. "What's the point of being excited when you know that you can't make any friends because you'll have to move two months later." I said grabbing a protein bar from the cabinet.

She looks at me and I hear her let out a sigh. Why was being an 18 year old so hard? "Listen sweetheart, I know you hate moving and trust me I do too. I promise you he won't be back for a while, we have some time ok." I look at her and let the words sink in he won't be back for a while. Yeah maybe if he wasn't some psycho then we wouldn't be in this situation.

"You're right mom." I say and turn on my heel to go upstairs and get dressed for this so-called adventure.
