The first fall morning was temperate and brisk, leaves already beginning to change in color to more of a golden-red. A perfect day for a typical coffee date, even though it was a little cliché for Jimin's taste. Jungkook wanted to, it was his idea.

"Just one more block until the park," piped up Jungkook, cozy in a woolen scarf and a windbreaker. Jimin smiled at the sweet sound of his voice, and squeezed Jungkook's left hand. He was warm. With his right hand he held a coffee cup, two creamers and no sugar. Jungkook held his coffee with his left, with sugar and creamer.

There wasn't an exact time he could pinpoint when Jungkook had grown taller than him, not by too much, but he still felt like the presence beside him was no longer soft but something solid that he could rely on. Jimin shivered with the next gust of wind, then realizing maybe a thin sweater and some shorts for style wasn't enough. His ears were frozen, neck exposed, shivering. But he said nothing, not to break the moment in which the swinging of their arms, the footsteps, and each cold breath they blew into the air was synchronized. Maybe even their hearts were perfectly matched.

In this small moment, feet crunching over dead leaves, he heard nothing but each breath Jungkook took and each breath he exhaled. He saw nothing but the strong figure, he felt nothing but the warm hand he held. He was perfect.

He took a sip of his coffee, gaze still fixed. He watched his stride, his relaxed gait. From his feet, his favorite shoes, all the way up to those cutely bowed lips, up to those galactic eyes Jimin swore he could see the entire universe in.

He sipped again.

There was nothing cliché about finding true love.
