Moving In and Figuring It Out

"I'm fine" he nodded and swung his leg over to sit. I followed after and he placed my hands on his shoulders. I moved them and wrapped my arms around his waist. He was stiff at first but relaxed soon after

"Ready?" He asked

"Always"

"I'll pick you up later" he said as he got off the bike

"Okay" he leaned in and I thought he was going to kiss me on the lips, but instead kissed my cheek

"Bye princess" he took off after that

I took awhile before walking into class, when I did I was slow. I was processing what just happened back there. Connor usually takes the opportunity to kiss me, why didn't he? He's been waiting forever for me, waiting for me to forgive him, to be with him, why didn't he-

"Mack" I was snapped out my thoughts when Ryan clapped his hands in front of my face "You've been standing there for the longest time."

"I was just...you know what never mind" I looped my arm with his and walked into class "We have class."

The whole time I kept wondering why didn't he kiss me. Ryan said I blanked out about 5 times. I just find it weird that he didn't kiss me

I mean why didn't he kiss me?

Did I smell?

That's crazy cause I smell like him, I'm wearing his clothes for goodness sake.

If it's not that then what's wrong?

"Princess" I looked up to see Connor holding out a helmet for me

I took it from his hand "C was right" I put over my head and clipped the strap "I do zone out a lot"

"Well, I learned to live with it" he said before getting on his bike. I shook my head and followed

"Where are we going?" I asked

"It's a secret. Close your eyes"

"You expect me to ride with my eyes closed? I might fall off"

"Not if you hold on tight, then you'll be fine"

I rolled my eyes then shut them. I wrapped my arms around his waist tightly then he drove off

"Would you tell me where we're going?" I asked

"If I told you, it wouldn't be a surprise now would it?" I squeezed his stomach a bit "Mack. You don't want me to drive us in a bush do you?"

"Your fault" he chuckled and I could feel the vibration of it. I liked it, I loved it actually. I've missed him so much and I want him to know that

We stopped moving "We're here princess. You can open your eyes now"

A house was in front of me. A big tall white two story house with a stair case leading to the front door. Flowers and freshly cut grass made the front yard look beautiful. Two balcony's at the second floor and you could see the white curtains through the doors leading inside.

"Where are we?" I asked as he took my hand

"Come inside and I'll tell you"

Once we were in the house was more beautiful. Big entrance hall, Chandeliers hanging, a big marble staircase leading to the second floor.

"Look around a bit" he told me

"I don't need to. It's beautiful and if you let me explore some more, I'm never going to leave"
