"Love, take a picture of me here, please!" Sabi ko at pumwesto sa gilid ng railings ng balcony. Nasa Europe kami ngayon for our honeymoon. Actually, matagal-tagal na rin kami nagt-travel right after we got married. Magta-tatlong buwan na rin ata.
"Okay, give me some poses." Sabi niya at syempre ginawa ko naman.
After our trip, we planned to focus on our company first then we will continue whatever are written in our bucket-list.
We went to four different countries, Iceland, France, Spain and Italy and everything we did are memorable for us. We even captured it.
After eight months of traveling, we went back home.
"Love! Sabi ko gusto ko ng saging and ice cream! Dark choco!"
"Mahal, kakakain mo lang no'n kanina after mo mag-breakfast." Sagot ni Cj. I don't know why but I sudden feel the urge to cry.
"You won't give me bananas and ice creams?" I said in a very sad voice.
"Baby, don't cry. I'm just worried, okay? Baka kasi mamaya sa CR ang tambay mo. Weird cravings."
"Fine! Don't give me some. Just don't come near me and just please sleep on the couch later!" I said and stood up. Nagdabog ako habang naglalakad papasok ng room namin.
"What the–" Di na natapos ni Cj ang sasabihin niya dahil sinara ko na yung pinto. Naiyak na lang ako sa inis.
Ilang minuto rin nang marinig ko siyang kumatok.
"What's wrong with you, mahal? One week ka na mabilis magalit sakin. Did I do something?" Sabi niya sa labas.
"Ewan! Go away!" Sagot ko pabalik.
"I have the banana and dark chocolate ice cream you asked for. Please open this door, I'm worried." Sabi pa niya.
Kahit nagtatampo ay tumayo ako at nagpunta sa pinto para buksan iyon.
"You're acting really weird lately, mahal. Ano bang meron?" Sabi niya pagkaabot sa akin ng saging at ice cream. "This is way too much for your typical mood swings. Nagkaroon ka na ba?" Tanong niya.
That shocked me, actually. Gosh! Delayed na ako ng three weeks!
"Oh my gosh!" Sabi ko na lang at tumakbo sa bathroom. I took out the pregnancy tesk kits I've been keeping and used them. Binasa ko muna kung paano iyon gamitin.
Cj on the other hand, kept on knocking.
"Wait lang! I'm okay, just wait!" Sagot ko. Tumigil naman siya sa pagkatok.
I took three test kits and waited. Natatakot ako tumingin, natatakot ako sa resulta. Natatakot ako kasi hindi ko alam kung ready na ba ako. I've been dreaming about this but this is so unexpected. If ever, I don't know what to feel.
"Love, ano ginagawa mo?" Tanong ni Cj. As I look at the clock it' seems like telling me that I've waited long enough. Lumipat ang tingin ko sa tatlong test kits.
Two lines. Lahat ng pregnancy test kits.
I screamed out of excitement and joy that made Cj enter the bathroom.
"Damn it! What happened?!"
"What happened after that?"
"Well, your dad was so happy. He even carried me! Buti na lang around half of the bucket-list were marked as done. I can't travel that time because I was pregnant with you. The next ones on the list are all about us. Buo tayo gano'n.." Sagot ko.
