"Mystery, come on. You know you have to tell-" Rex insisted as he was following Mystery to the kitchen.
"Just...shut up," Mystery finally stops near the table, and slams his fist on it. Silverware would bounce at the sudden force.
"Mystery..." Rex frowned, tears overwhelming him. He held them back, for Mystery's sake. They both knew they didn't want this.
"I...I'm sorry. I don't know what had got into me," Mystery turns to Rex. He walked to Rex and would take him in his arms. He held him close, feeling Rex's heartbeat. It made him feel at ease. All of his worries diminished at that one moment. He just concentrated on his breathing, and Rex's gentle pulse.
"I'm glad you're calm," Rex would stroke Mystery's hair. A sensation filled Mystery, as he melted into his desire for more of Rex's support and sympathy.
"I am glad too, especially when it's with you," Mystery whispered in Rex's ear. He had no care anymore, he just wanted to stay like this forever. ──────────────────────────────────────────
"Ah, uh...It's fine," Alfred sweated. He was in an awkward situation with Kao.
"Hm~? What do you mean? I just asked to go out with you to eat, sheesh!" Kao pouted.
"I mean, I am not h-hungry?" Alfred internally slapped himself. That was an obvious lie.
"Oh," Kao bought the lie, which Alfred sighed in relief. He wasn't as stiff now.
"In fact, I'm just tired. I am going to head to bed now," Alfred managed to get out of that sticky situation as he turned around and walked upstairs.
"Okay! Sleep well, Al!" Kao cheered. Finally, Alfred was out of sight. Kao's face turned neutral, and looked down at his feet.
"Yeah. Please do sleep well," He muttered under his breath. ──────────────────────────────────────────
These were only just the examples of what was going on in their lives. For this was only just the beginning of themselves being "troubled".
