Next morning I woke up feeling a lot better, surprisingly.  This healing process was coming along quickly, I wondered if it had something to do with my wolf strength kicking in. considering that my shift was just a couple of days away.

My birthday was in three days. I turned over and saw that Klaudious was still sleeping. Examining him I came to the conclusion as I did everyday that, Klaudious was really hot, he was kind of like model meets bad boy hoodlum and his dangerous characteristics added to his attractiveness. He had that jet black devilish hair, toned body, and well tanned frame. Green eyes that just bore into your soul and full lips. He was amazing, and here I was sleeping NEXT to him, but when his mate came along he would surely not think twice in kicking me out. 

I took a deep breath and released it. I was feeling a bit depressed now, but out of nowhere Klaudious hands wrapped around me and pulled me in making me feel a bit comforted. For a moment I stayed still, not sure what to do. Was Klaudious trying to comfort me? But how could he? How did he know I needed comforting? 

But the bigger point being, this wasn't right! I pushed him off, well I tried too.

"Klaudious," I whispered. "Get away." his grip only got tightened and he mumbled a 'no'. 

"Klaudious." I tried to push him once more. 

But he only got closer and placed his face in the crook of my neck and let out a breath. My stomach exploded in butterflies and I froze, I honestly liked Klaudious! I mustered all my strength and pushed him off, and without looking back I got out of his room. 

 "How could this have happened," I said to myself while pacing in my room. 

"He’s an egotistical jerk, that's why he is just playing with me right now." 

"He's dangerous and awful and mean and ugly and-oh god who am I kidding? He's wonderful!" I collapsed on my floor and looked up at the ceiling. 

"I need my mom." I said shutting my eyes hopeless. But then realization bit me! I would bring my mom! She had a right to be here, she knew about this! She was a werewolf too! 

I grabbed a phone and dialed her number, she didn't pick up so I decided to call her later. 

I decided to go downstairs and see what was going on, I spotted Luan and Jay in the kitchen. 

"Morning guys." I said lamely. 

"Doesn't sound like you've had a good one, what's wrong?" Luan said worried.

"I realized something horrible, but I rather forget about it." I told them, while trying to overlook Klaudious mate and my hardcore feelings for him. "Hey Luan, do you think it would be fine if I invited someone over?" he arched an eyebrow. 

"Like?"

"My mom?" his face brightened. 

"Does she live around here?"

"No, so I was thinking she could stay here for a week or so while she visited. Would that be fine?" 

"I don't know, why don't you ask Klaudious, he's right behind you." Luan went back to talking to Jay and once again I was frozen in my spot, I don't want to face Klaudious right now.

For some reason things were tense and awkward, well for me.

He took the seat beside me and Jay brought him his coffee, he never took his eyes off me, I on the other hand never met his.
