"Fresh out of fucks." - Iris BatesIRIS •P.O.V•
"That's it! Iris your fired," said my now ex boss, "pack your things and get out of my face."I was still gasping like a fish, as I was trying to process what was happening.
"What? What do you mean I'm fired?"
My now ex boss rolled his eyes, "Iris your fired. F-I-R-E-D! FIRED!" He yelled and walked to his office, slamming the door shut.
'The fuck?'
Signing, I began packing all my belongings into boxes.
"Need help?"
Turning around, to find Nya making her way towards me I sign.
"That motherfucker, actually fired me." I said with a huff and continued to pack my things.
She laughed, "bitch what did you expect, it's been 5 times since your late."
I rolled my eyes, "But that doesn't mean you have to fire me! Like what the fuck?"
Nya signed, "I know fam, I know." She said and picked up and old frame of us back in high school.
She smiled, "Remember those days when we where carefree and dumb?"
I laughed, "Yeah. We we're young dumb and broke." I said with a grin.
She laughed, "Yes. Definitely dumb and broke."
Putting the frame in a box she turned to me and leaned against my deck, (correction; 'THE' desk now) and signed, "Now what?" She said.
I signed too.
"Now I gotta find a new job." I said and slumped on my chair.
She tapped her chin, in thinking. "Well, I can obviously help you find one," she said and then smirked. "But tonight we're going out." She stated.
I raised an eyebrow, "We are?"
She nodded, "Yeah, you could use a break anyway. Thought it be good idea to take you out after what happened just now."
I smiled. Nya was a person who would go to the end of the earth just to make you happy.
I shrugged, "Sure. I guess it's fine now since I'm practically jobless now." I said with an eye roll.
