"Mother no," I cried. Please don't leave me. My mother caressed my face. "Reyna my daughter, go to the Forest of Darkness, and stay there, you'll be safer," My mother spoke.
"Reyna dear, you must know, you aren't a full vampire, you are a princess, you are only half vampire, you are a royalty from the stars, we don't know how it came to happen but you will find out when time comes, take care my love," Father added
"We love you Reyna," and with that, they left me, just like dust. I covered my mouth and cried. Then all of a sudden I saw a light. I ran outside. There was a box. I opened it, there was a note inside. "Reyna, I hope you are reading this, now that your parents are gone, you are all alone. You know that your mother is human, causing you to be half, but there's more to that. While your mother was pregnant with you, another stellar royalty came down while she was sleeping. Your mother was on the verge of dying. But the stellar royalty saved her just in time. The magic got into your DNA and turned you into a princess, your parents were informed with this but they never knew how it came to happen. Your father has red eyes and your mother has brown yet you have gold, that's because of the magic, you have fangs just like your father and human looks just like your mother, you can shape shift into a bat, but I know you are already aware of that. This letter is a warning. You must hide from the evils that this world has planned for you. Humans know about your existence and want your powers for their own good, they think you're a threat to their kind. I hope you take your  mother's advice and hide in the Forest of Darkness, you will be safer there.  You know that you live in the monster realm but that doesn't stop humans from becoming masters of your kind and take over you, please consider this,"

This is ridiculous, but I find myself doing what it says. A part of me just wants to trust it but there's also a part where I want to go burn this letter. When I walked the house with my hoodie that has my family photo and a knife, I nearly tripped over that box. I picked it up and saw another box. It had a necklace in it.

From your Mother,

Now I remember, Mother always wore this in her childhood photos, I wonder how it got here.

Then I set off, I was walking aimlessly towards the forest. I didn't look back, not because I felt brave, but because I didn't have the courage to see where I grew up once again. I don't wanna remember everything, I wanna forget it all.

I was walking through the forest when suddenly I heard someone pass by me. "Hello?" I called.

I felt air brush by me again. Then suddenly I felt a tap on my shoulder. I turned around and pointed my knife. "Woah easy with that thing," a tall man said.

"What do you want from me?" I asked keeping my guard up.

"Nothing, I was just wondering what a girl like you would be doing in here," he answered. "I'm Kris," he added.

"Reyna," I replied. Then all of a sudden a  bear came. "Watch out!" I cried. I threw the knife at the bear hitting it right on the stomach. "Hey what's your deal?" Kris ran over to the bear.

"It was coming at-"

"Kyungsoo, are you alright?" He interrupted. Then suddenly the bear turned into a human. I gasped. "Oh my," I ran over to him and covered his wound. In a few seconds the wound was gone and he could stand up again. "You're like Yixing," they said in unison.

"Who?" I asked.

"Come with us," they grabbed my hand and pulled me all the way to what seems like a mansion. They walked up to the door and rang the doorbell. Then a man came and hugged them, "I told you not to stay out too long," he said. Then he looked over Kyungsoo's shoulder and looked at me. "Who is she?" He asked.
