Chapter 15

"Can the bride and groom please make their way to the middle of the floor for their first dance as husband and wife." Quincy stood and helped a very pregnant Danjur to the dance floor. He placed a hand on her lower back, rubbing small circles into it, soothing her ache. She placed her hand gently in his and laid her head on his shoulder and they slowly swayed back and forth across the floor to All My Life by KC and JoJo. Once the song ended the crowd clapped. "Ready to go?" She smiled and nodded. They began saying their byes. After leaving and getting into the limo Dajur laid her head on Quincy's shoulder. "I love you." He kissed the top of her head. "I love you." They rode to the airport. Boarded a private plane to Paris, France. 

After arriving back from their 2 month vacation all Danjur wanted to do was stay home. Their mothers called it the nesting stage. It was close time for her to have Luna and she was becoming more and more excited but also nervous. The girls had been visiting more and trying to spend as much time as they can with her. "How much stuff can you seriously consume from a wedding and a freaking baby shower?" Tiffany whined. "Hell if you get this much free shit just for popping out a kid and getting married then I'm all for it." Mel responded causing Danjur to giggle. "It's the thought that count girls. Now help me up so we can get to this class on time please." Asia helped her stand as they grabbed her things and helped her into the truck. "Mario, my birthing class is down the street from the office." He nodded and pulled out of the yard. "So when does Quincy get back?" Asia asked. "Tonight. I miss him." Danjur pouted. The girls chuckled. "How long has he been gone?" Tiffany asked. "Almost 2 weeks." She whined. "Seemed like a few days to me. How is the tour going?" Mel asked. She nodded as she waddled into the building. "Pretty good. I went to a couple shows. He's amazing on stage. Oh he asked me to give you guys tickets to the next show in town. It'll be after my 6 weeks are up. Like a girls day out type of thing." They all smiled in excitement. After getting as comfortable as Luna would allow her the class began. Then she had her final yoga session. She was beginning to have a few complications towards the end of the pregnancy. She thought of it as more of Luna being stubborn and difficult. By the end of the day Danjur was tired and hungry. Mario dropped her off at home. She walked in to see Quincy standing in the foyer with a bouquet of red, white and yellow roses in his hand. She broke down and rushed into his arms. "Hey love." He whispered into her ear. "Hey handsome." She responded as she wiped the tears from her face. "I missed you both so much." He whispered as his forehead laid against hers. She wrapped her arms around his neck and spoke with his eyes closed. "We missed you too." He kissed her tears. "These are for you." He handed her the flowers. "Their beautiful. Thank you." He smiled and wiped her tears. "Even all sweaty and swollen you still look beautiful." She blushed and kissed his lips tenderly. "Go wash up and I'll get dinner started. She nodded and headed upstairs to shower. Upon entering the room Danjur found a small white box with a lavender bow tied around it. Her wondering mind was tempted to open it. She read the card that was addressed to her. "Open me please."  Was all that was written in beautiful hand writing. "Go ahead." She jumped to see Quincy behind her. "More gifts Quincy?" He smiled. "You deserve everything your heart desires. So go ahead and open it." She smiled and pulled the string only for the walls of the box to fall to reveal a sleeping chocolate tea cup poodle. The puppy stretched from the sudden appearance of light. She wore a lavender color and her dog tag read Lilo, causing Danjur to giggle. "She's beautiful baby. Thank you." She pecked his lips. "She's already house trained." Danjur let out a sigh of relief. "Thank god. We're gonna have to get her used to the baby before she arrives. Luckily it won't be that hard." Danjur stated. "No need. She knows Luna's heart beat." Danjur smiled. "Thought of everything already huh daddy." Quincy nodded. "Yep. Dinner should be ready by the time you finish. I'll take Lilo with me." Danjur turned before he could. "No. Leave her." He chuckled at her child like behavior and raised his hands in surrender. "Fine. I'm backing away from the dog." Danjur pointed. "Good boy." Quincy chuckled and headed back downstairs. To say his missed his wife would be the statement of the century. But something was telling him that his baby girl Luna would be arriving sooner than later.

A few nights later Danjur woke up in the middle of the night feeling hungry so she quietly climbed out of bed with Lilo following. After fixing herself a big bowl of cereal and toast with a bowl of pineapples and Lilo her dog food Danjur was finally content. She stood to place the dishes into the dish washer only to feel water at her feet. She looked down to see that her water had just broke. She began taking calming breaths. Suddenly a sharp pain hit her and she bent over and dropped a bowl. Instantly Quincy sat up. He looked over to see that Danjur was no longer in bed and Lilo was gone as well. He calmly climbed out of bed to hear Lilo barking and Danjur moaning. Upon arriving in the kitchen he walked over to her and helped her take a seat on the couch. "Hold on baby. I'm calling the doctor now." While he called the doctor Danjur walked into the downstairs bathroom as practiced and took a quick shower and changed clothes. Quincy came down dressed and carrying 2 bags and the car seat. Lilo whimpered as the began walking out the door. He called her and she came running out the door behind them and into the car as well. 10 hours and 30 minutes in labor Luna Isaine Hilson finally arrived into the world at 12:31 am on Friday, April 12. After all of the visits and cooing over her it was finally just the three of them. Quincy sat in the chair admiring his daughter and his wife slept. "You are the most beautiful gift me and your mother has ever created.. No matter what anyone tells you remember daddy always loves you. I promise to protect you from harm and to mend all the broken hearts. I will have your back no matter right or wrong and when mommy says no I will say yes." Luna cooed with a smile as he spoke, like she understood him. "You're my princess." He gently kissed her lips. Danjur quietly recorded the moment and uploaded it to their page. "Welcome to the world Luna." Was the title of the video. She was content and happy. She was ready for the worlds endeavours. She was ready to teach her daughter everything her little inquiring mind wanted to know. Love was what she was feeling but it couldn't be descibed.

Yaaay the tied the knot and baby Luna is here with a new addition of Lilo! So guys this is the last chapter but there will be another book. I love all of you that has stuck it out with me. Danjur 2: Uncomplicated

Two Months Later

Quincy stopped in his tracks and slowly turned around. "What are you doing here Tyler?" He asked as calmly as possible. Danjur her mouth in anticipation.  "Well. Let's see if I can find the best way to put this. I'm taking your wife, with me of course." He said with a sinister smile. "What have we ever done to you?" Tyler stepped closer. "You interfered in something that had nothing to do with you." Tyler said. "Please don't hurt him Tyler." She whispered through tears. Tyler chuckled. "Hurt is far from what I intend to do." Once Quincy began to launch towards him Tyler shot him down causing him to land on the ground. "Nooo! Quincy!" She rushed over to him and held him in her lap. "He knew I had a gun." She looked at him with anger in her eyes. "You didn't have to shoot him Tyler!" He grabbed her by her hair and snatched her up. "Oh well. I did. Now let's go. I'm sure the cops have been called by the neighbors already." He dragged her out of the house and threw her into the car. "We can't just leave him there! What about my children Tyler?" She asked. "They're no longer your concern." He pulled off, leaving the house of sleeping babies and a bleeding father. Danjur silently prayed that her call had been heard and that someone got to Quincy soon.

Danjur's phone had called Harp while he was talking to one of his police college buddies. By the time they'd arrived at the house Tyler and Danjur were both gone. "Find them. Please." Quincy called out from behind the couch with a gun shot wound in his side.
