"Hazel, it's time to get up." My mother's voice came from downstairs. I sighed I really didn't want to go to school. We'd probably just be forced to watch more BLI/ind propaganda/brainwash (trash). For some reason some people actually believed they would make the world better.... At least at school I could see my friends
I got ready to go to school, putting on the brightest colored outfit I had, just to annoy the new government. I wore a teal jacket, purple shirt, black ripped jeans, and fake neko ears. I also put on eyeliner, mainly because of the lack of black in my outfit.
This was it, the day we were going to escape. A few weeks earlier, while we were being forced to watch more bli/nd trash, someone had hacked the broadcast. The group had called themselves "Killjoys". They said thay they were going to free the world from BLI/nd's control.

That's all it had said, but it made us realise there was a better life outside of battery city. There was a place were you could be free. There was a chance the world could be saved from control.
This chance was hidden in the desert, under the code name of killjoys
