Where Did I Go Wrong? (One Direction)

Hey guys just wanted to let you know this is my first story and I really want to see how I will do. so I really would appreciate your time and comments :D Lets see how this turns out. lets get this story on the road but sadly stories cant go on roads but ohh well.

Chapter One

Oh My gosh was all I could think of at this moment. What could I possibly do with my life? I mean I sing here and there but seriously I had no clue what my life had in store for me. All I knew was I did not want to be singing at a poolside for the rest of my life watching people enjoy there time..

                 

 ''Emma get down here! Your going to be late. You only experience this once in your life so hurry up'' my mom said

                 

 "I will be down in a sec mom'' I said

           

          

      Today for me was graduation and well lets just say I wasn't excited. Everybody was getting ready to do something with their lives and well I was going to be nothing but a waste of space in my parents home or at least that's what i thought. My mom wants me to be a lawyer but I didn't want to do that exactly. I didn't like that field, to me law was just nothing but boring. Unlike for my sister Christina, a crime scene investigator. She loves her job and I respect that but if that was me I would be lost. Truth to be told I'm already lost in this world. I don't know where life will lead me but it will definitely not start with law.

  

  "Emma what are you doing up there? Do you not understand we are going to be late. Don't make me come up there!" my mom threatened

  

   ''Ok mom I'm coming" I said. Can't she ever wait she is so impatient. I mean even in the supermarket she would yell 'Hurry up I don't got all day' while waiting on the line for the cashier to scan our items. She's just unbelievable.

            

      I went to the bathroom and checked myself over for like it seemed the tenth time. I was a short, petite girl who barely reached 5'2. I had brown colored, curly hair which sort of matched my dark brown eyes. I was not really that pretty. I didn't wear makeup or dresses like most girls did. I sort of dressed up as a dude. I loved the sound of sneakers. Nike, Jordan's, Supra you name it. I never even put on a pair of heels in my life. It was sort of the reason I had no love life. I barely had boyfriends and when I did they cheated on me for some better looking girl. It didn't really make me angry but really sorry for myself, sorry for the fact I wasn't good enough. Huh if only..... I was interrupted when my mom came busting in.

  ''Hun you look fine, Josh will always will love you no matter what. LETS GO NOW!" my mom yelled. Before I noticed what was happening she grabbed me by my arm and dragged me down the stairs into her car and from there we started driving to my school

The car ride was silent for the most part. My mom kept chatting away about my future. All she said was 'Oh! my daughter is going to be a lawyer. My daughter is going to be a lawyer. She's following in her sisters footsteps, Isn't that great!' She repeated that over and over again. I just nodded here and there, not really caring about what she was saying. I was going to break the news to her tonight, tell her that being a lawyer was just not me. I eventually tuned her out thinking about my one and only boy, Josh.

              He was very sweet with a very fun and dangerous side. Most girls only liked him for his looks but I liked him for who he was. That was one of the reasons boys cheated on me. I liked to have fun going to amusement parks and joke around, while boys just wanted me to stay still, not talk and be their doll. That was so not me. Josh didn't want any of those things. He wanted a girl who brought out his fun, jokey side out and that was me. He told me I was the best thing that ever happened to him. Whenever I was with him I couldn't have been more happier. The only problem was that he could be rude and do nothing but lie sometimes but that hasn't happened since that girl, who shall not be mentioned was around.

 "We're here'' my mom said with excitement. ''Yayyy''  I said sarcastically

  ''Are you excited'' my mom asked. ''Sureee" I replied.

   The car came into view of my big but small high school. So many memories I would be leaving behind after today, I don't want to let it go. I didn't notice I was crying until my mom said ''Emma don't cry. Come on lets go. I will meet you inside after the ceremony and we will be heading out to dinner later ok". That's another thing about my mom she has a soft side which I tended to like.

  

''Ok'' replied while my mom parked. I took a step out the car and walked towards the front entrance of the school wishing for the best.

"Hey Babe. You look beautiful as always" my boyfriend Josh said. ''Thanks. you don't look so bad yourself'' I replied. "Ok lets go inside'' he said as he guided me to my seat.
