he knows that being together is a crime in every fan's viewpoint, but he is willing to commit it as long as it is for her, simply because, everything is worth it for yerim. the fact that she put him and her fans before themselves, the fact that she's always thinking about others and never about herself says a lot about her, and it should be a crime for anyone to say something degrading about her. to him, she's nothing but worth committing crimes for.

the male is tired of hiding his love for her anymore; he simply wants to bond and deepen their love on a spiritual and emotional level, he wants her to understand how much he loves her through his actions, his honest feelings to be reciprocated. jeongguk does not wish to hide anymore, he wants to be free; he wants their love to be free and honestly, it will be the best birthday gift for him.

jeongguk knows how much resistance yerim puts up saying 'no' to his confession, although he's highly aware of how much she wishes to say 'yes' and allow him to take her in his arms, but she couldn't: simply because they are idols and they have an image to keep up. but sometimes, he wishes she will be a little rebel and think for her own happiness instead.

and he's willing to give up his life to her, to share his entire life with her, for he's hers to always start with, no matter what. the day he first met her, jeongguk can say that she has him wrapped around her tiny finger anyway.

jeongguk sighs again, as half an hour passes along yet there's no message from her. shrugging his shoulders as he shuts the laptop, realizing how drowned in his own thoughts he was for the past few minutes that he didn't realize his members have taken their leave. standing up as he heads towards his bag across the room, the lights in the room suddenly switch off and the male immediately spins around, "hyung?"

his unsteady voice is instantly comforted by the familiar silhouette he can make out through the darkness, as she enters the practice room with a cake, decorated with the candles that spell '2-o'. jeongguk can't help but laughs out softly as she makes his way to him carefully, before stopping before him with a shy smile, and flushed cheeks.

"happy birthday, jeon-ah," she whispers softly, holding the cake out as his members rush into the room, cheering loudly at the success of surprising the male. the youngest glances at his members, before looking fondly at her, silently making a wish, i wish no matter what, yerim and i will always be together even if the time isn't right for now.

jeongguk then blows the candles before gazing at yerim, who is still smiling at him. surprised is definitely one of the emotions he is feeling right now, but more than that, there's anticipation too. he wonders whether she has an answer with her, and if she does, what is it going to be? is it going to be a yes or a no, as usual?

"thank you," he mumbles softly, wrapping his hands around her waist, pulling her in for an embrace as his members take over the cake, and leave the room, giving them their personal space that they may need. yerim leans her head against his chest, wrapping her arms around his torso, before whispering, "no, thank you instead, for waiting for me for so long; for always being there for me, for being so understanding and most importantly, for being such a constant in my life, one that is always there and never leaving."

the male holds his breath, wondering where the conversation may be heading, feeling a little hopeful. he squeezes her sides gently, before replying, "i told you, i will keep all my promises to you as long as i'm still here."

"i heard your cover song, i saw your message, i felt your feelings and jeon-ah, yes," she replies, pulling away slightly away from him to look at him in the eye. "my answer is a yes, and i'm sorry for making you wait so long for me."

jeongguk widens his eyes in surprise, gripping the sides of her shoulders excitedly, but gently, "r-r-really? i'm not hearing things, am i? you agreed, so does that mean―"

"yes," yerim laughs, and he swears, her laughter sound nothing but a melody to him as always. whooping loudly, the male picks her up easily and turns them around, cheering by the fact that she has agreed to be his. who says kim yerim isn't worth the chase, the wait, the love and most importantly, to be his? she's everything deserving and instead, jeongguk think he's the one undeserving of her. but who cares? he ain't got time to think over that when he got a girl to love forever.
