"No." you lied. You felt as if confession was not an option at this point. For the first time since you've known him, he scared you.

"Oh? I just was wondering how you and Arlert were getting along. Why are you so nervous? You know me, I'm not a bad person, just a little curious is all." his expression didn't change, as per usual, making you not interested in trying to buy his lie.

"I-it just doesn't seem like you. Being curious as to how the cadets are doing and all."

"You're right (y/n), it isn't. Unless I had a reason to."

You stared at Levi, trying to see where he was going with his questions.

"You and Armin are spending more time than usual together. He's very protective of you, I must say. He seems to act like you're his property or something."

"W-what? No, it's not like that."

Almost cutting you off, Levi responded with, "Then what is it like?"

With each question, you could feel your body shaking more and more as well as your face growing warmer.

"We're just close friends."

"So 'just close friends' are super over-protective of each other and take them into closets while everyone else is eating and do things there?"

Now everything was clicking into place.

"What are you talking about?"

"You don't know what I mean by that?"

"No, I don't."

This is where things took a creepy turn. Slowly, Levi's lips turned up into a smirk.

"You're lying." he said almost playfully.

"No I'm not."

"That's not what I heard coming from the boys' bunks when I was doing my rounds last night."

"You heard wrong then." you said still trying to save yourself.

"Did I? Let's bring in a witness then."

"No, no, let's not."

"Let's shall." he paused for a second. You swear you heard him laugh under his breath. "Eren!" You heard Eren's muffled shouts from the other side of the door.

"Yes Corporal?"

Levi turned to you, "Be quiet." he whispered harshly, "Or else." Levi tied a cloth around your mouth as a precaution.

"Close your eyes when I open the door okay?" he yelled back to Eren.

"Huh?"

"Don't question it."

"Yes Sir."

Eren walked into the door with his eyes shut after Levi unlocked it. Levi then proceeded to wrap a piece of cloth around his eyes.

"Follow my voice and watch out for the furniture." Levi said, eventually leading Eren to the chair next to yours.

"So, Captain, why am I here again?"

"I want you to repeat what you told me earlier. I need to write it down as a report, just to see if stories match up." Levi glanced over at you as if he was taunting you.

"Alright." Eren said awkwardly. "So I was sitting in the dining hall with Connie, Sasha, Mikasa, Armin, and (y/n). Then Armin carried her to the library for some reason and I went to find him after dinner. I knew his favorite spot, so I checked there first. I walked over to it, and heard some noises from that closet-" Eren stopped abruptly.
