While the boys were managing to get along at Star Labs, the girls spent their afternoon at the local coffee shop so both Caitlin and Iris got to know Caroline better.
They all took turns asking each other questions as they ordered cup after cup of coffee.
"So you're a reporter for your city's biggest newspaper? That's so cool! I always wanted to be a news reporter or a journalist" Caroline smiled as she drunk her third cup of coffee "What is it like?"
Iris smiled back, she was still on her first cup while Caitlin was on her secone.
"Well it's a lot of research and typing but when I get the chance to go out and investigate on the scandals going on in Central City, it can be exhilarating" she replied to Caroline.
Caroline nodded as she finished her third cup of coffee.
"Hey I'm gonna get another cup, you guys want a refill?" She asked before getting up.
Both Caitlin and Iris shared a glance before shaking their heads.
"How are you not bouncing off the walls right now? I'd be on a caffeine high by my cup" Caitlin asked.
Iris nodded but Caroline chuckled, speaking just loud enough for only them to hear "Vampires are basically immune to caffeine rushes and alcohol. But we sorta can get drunk if we drink a lot" she explained with a smirk.
Iris laughed a little "That's insane, man I wish I had your tolerance."
Caroline chuckled more "No you dont it's a curse, I miss getting drunk with my friends" she replied, smiling back at them.
After a while, the girls decided to go back to the Lab to see how the guys were doing.
Caroline was worried Damon would do something reckless and Iris was worried for her father, Joe.
Iris knew her father isn't afraid to stand up and fight for anything. But hopefully the others could keep the peace until they got back to Star Labs.

The ride back to Star Labs was quick and chatty. Caroline, Caitlin and Iris seemed to have a great time spending time and getting to know each other.
But surprisingly, the fun didn't stop there.
As the girls walked back into the quartex, they realized the boys were also getting along.
"What's going on in here?" Caroline asked as they walked in.
To their surprise, the guys were laughing and talking amongst each other like actual friends.
All of the guys stopped, looking at the girls surprised to see them back so soon.
"Oh we were just getting to know each other" Cisco replied with a nervous smile.
"Oh really? Because it looks like you're testing out Damon's reflexes" Caroline said suspiciously as she pointed around the room.
All over the floor were various things like knives and office supplies.
"It does?" Cisco asked nervously "News to me, right Damon?"
"Right!" Damon nodded "I think your OCD is acting up Care-bear" he replied, smirking playfully at Caroline.
"Don't call me that" she groaned "And you boys better clean this up before I get snappy.."
Barry quickly glanced at the other guys before using his speed clean up the lab in a flash.
Both Caitlin and Iris smirked at how Caroline took charge and managed to intimidate Barry into doing it.
She sure had some bossiness to her.
"Easy Caroline, we were just having some fun- Plus Cisco wanted to test out our speed compared to Speedy over there" Damon smirked "Besides, at least we're not biting each others heads off, literally."
"Yeah, I guess" Caroline admitted "But you guys still have to come up with a plan to stop those Metas and vampires, did you do that yet?"
Cisco took a sip of his slushie he had, trying to avoid the question but Caroline was persistent "Well?"
"Ok, so maybe we don't have a plan yet but we have some ideas.. That's a start" Stefan replied, defending the others.
Caitlin walked over and crossed her arms "What are these ideas then?"
The guys all shared a glance "that's.. private" Damon replied.
"Damon Salvatore, you don't have an idea do you?" Caroline asked with a suspicious tone and glare.
Damon shrugged "That's uh, also private.."
"Oh my god.." Caroline face palmed herself as Caitlin shook her head.
This was going to take forever.
