Chapter 5

(Ashton's POV)
   Here I am pulling adaline into a janitors closet to tell her I wanna go on a date when I should let her spend time with my sister... does that make me a jerk? " hello? Ashton what's wrong?" Shes staring at me like I'm crazy "Nothing I just wanted to tell you that.. I wanted to go on a real date on. Saturday .. and forget about the whole bullying thing for a day" she just stares at me and I can tell she's gonna say no... why wouldn't she I bullied her so much and I-- "yes I will" to say I was shocked was an understatement but what came next was more shocking... she just kissed my cheek and went out the closet.. I came out and acted like nothing happend.

     (Adalines P.O.V)
 Is it weird that I'm so excited about this date?! I mean no I don't like him like that but it would be nice to you know hang out but I shouldn't be focused on that right now I should focus on Ashley coming back I'm so happy. "hey Adeline are you okay what happened with my brother" ashley says to me curious  "oh nothing he wanted chemistry homework" all of a sudden Ashton starts laughing like a maniac. "yeah I sure did" he manages to say and I couldn't help but smile at my own joke. "So ashley tell me about your old  military school" I was trying to change the subject but ashley gives me the 'what the hell is going on' look and I shrug it off with a 'I'll tell you later' look. She then starts talking about how all the boys thought she was cute and all the partys she had... totally ignoring the fact that her parents hate her but still tolerate her! It's totally weird. " hey adaline want me and ashton to give you a ride home after your last class?" Ashley says which snapped me out of my thought. Veronica and Charlie are kinda mad seeing as I always walk with them home "yea sure" I mean they did betray me might as well act mad to get there reactions.

 (Charlies P.O.V) *FIRST TIME!!*
    Wait did she just say yes?? Is she mad at us or something because she is spending way to much time with ashton and she is mostly talking to ashley.. I mean I get it she came back but at least talk to your friends! "Charlie! Are you listening" "Huh what" I couldn't tell who said that until I saw adaline waving her hand and asking if I was alright " yea I'm fine.. so wanna do something Saturday with us?" Please say yes I don't want her to be mad at us " Sorry you know I would love to but I um... I have a date" Is she lying? "With who" veronica says like she's reading my mind " Ashton..." My mouth hangs open as I'm trying to figure out why " he is nice now and it's not like anything will happen" wait is she blushing? All of a sudden I see adaline freeze and yell "What the hell is wrong with you?!" What happend

(Adalines P.O.V)
While charlie was spacing out I feel someone grab my butt and I try to slap them but the grab my hand "What the hell is wrong with you?!"  Everyone was staring but I manage to say it  and I notice that the person was Liam the captain of the football team aka fuck boy and Katherine's  brother "Sorry baby it was to nice not to touch" I shiver when all of a sudden he tries to touch it again when a hand grabbed his and started squeezing it. It was ashton!! " touch her one more time and you won't have arms" Ashton looked pissed and Liam looked shocked " wow I didn't know ashton stood up for sluts" wait how am I a slut? I wanted to slap Liam for saying that when ashton beat me too it. He started punching him while Liam was on the ground " last time I checked we weren't talking about your sister" Ashton said with a smile on my face and I couldn't help but laugh! I looked crazy laughing and they stared for a second and then started fighting again until Ashley came  "That's enough ashton!!" He stopped and dragged me and ashley to his car ignoring that I was on my way to my last class. He let go of us in front of his car  " your bleeding. Let me take you home" I managed to say trying not to cry. No one has done that for me "ok let's go addie" and it was the best thing ever. His nickname and just him "can I call you ash?"
