45 | "I want Logie!"

"Mia what the fuck!" I heard Megan yell at her,

"Get a room!" Mia yelled back as she plopped back down on the couch and took a handful of popcorn from the bowl.

"Gross" Dylan added as they walked into the living room, Noah sat down next to Liam and Megan joined him on his lap.

Kyle and Dylan followed suit.

And then Kyle pushed Dylan of his lap and he fell on his ass.

Megan pressed play on the movie that was paused,

"The Amazing Spiderman sucks!" Kyle complained, "Let's watch Spiderman, the one with Toby Maguire!"

"No way!" Mia shot back, "Andrew Garfield is way hotter!"

And so that was how we spent the next thirty minutes and almost burning the house down,

For the third time.

"Who wants burnt cookies?" Noah said excitedly as he placed the plate of charred cookies on the coffee table.

"Me!" Dylan said as he took a cookie from the plate and put the whole thing on his mouth,

"3...2...1" Kyle muttered,

"Mm it actually tastes kind of g-" Dylan started coughing violently and Kyle slowly patted his back until he regained his composure.

"I'm honestly starting to think there's something seriously wrong with you" Megan said,

"It's been five years, how have you not noticed yet?" Noah added which earned rounds of laughter from everyone except Dylan.

Megan pressed play on Lion King since we couldn't decide which Spiderman movie to watch.

Suddenly Dylan started sprouting random words as the opening song; Circle of Life started playing.

We all burst out laughing.

"You're right, I should've noticed sooner," Megan said as she laughed along with the rest of us,

Further into the movie the doorbell rang.

"Are you kidding me? This is the best part!" Liam yelled when the doorbell rang, interrupting the chorus of Hakuna Matata,

"I'll get it," I laughed, rolling my eyes when no one made a move to open the door.

When I opened the door I was immediately pulled out and kissed the daylights out of by Logan.

Then he wrapped me in a tight hug,

"I'm so sorry, I am so fucking sorry",

I hummed in response as I hugged him back, enjoying the warmth too much to care.

He pulled apart from me, his hands clenching into fists, "I won't let those motherfuckers get away with this if it's the last thing I do, I'm going to-"

I kissed him.

"Shut the hell up" I whispered as we pulled apart, leaning our foreheads against each other's and he chuckled.

"And for not telling you about Beth- about Elizabeth"

I honestly didn't know what to feel. I felt hurt and betrayed that nobody told me about Elizabeth but I didn't dwell on it too much. She was my sister. I had the right to know, but Joseph threatened her life and that's why they didn't tell me. I understand that and I couldn't be angry but I wish I could. I wish I could let my rage out about how I felt, how kept this huge secret from me and I had no clue but I also knew that it was illogical to get angry with them when they had a good reason to do so. So now I just felt confused and numb.
