As I walk to school my best friend Will walks up to me
"Hey Vi."
"Hey Will. So you ready for the test?"
"Yeah, I'm hoping I get dauntless."
"Yeah me too." I say
When we get to school we go to the cafeteria and sit by the Erudite.
As usual Erudite are reading, Dauntless laughing and cracking jokes. Candor talking away, and Abnegation sitting in silence. I'm nothing like Erudite. I don't know why we hate the Abnegation. They're so calm, they mean no harm. They think of everyone before there own faction. Perfect people for the government. But that was until I found out Divergents come from there.
"Vanessa Heights, Peter Hayes-" Ah, Peter Hayes. I've always had a crush on him but I don't think he even knows my name.
After all 6 names were called I walk to one of the class rooms and waited for the door to open. As the door opened I took a deep breath and walked in.
