America/Ruby's POV:
I quickly sat down in the seat trying to stay unnoticed. Unfortunately, that didn't work out because Ryder almost immediately noticed me. I was expecting him to yell at me but was shocked when he just glared at me.
The teacher walked in and everyone stopped talking. "Okay everyone today we're going to start a new project," she said.
Everyone groaned at that. "This is a partner project but I'm picking partners this time I a not having a repeat of the last project," she said, "You and your partner are going to create a presentation about each other. Your partner is going to be the person next to you."
After she said that I internally freaked out. That means that Ryder is my partner!
"Hey, nerd," Ryder said, smirking.
"H-hi," I replied, fake stuttering.
"So where do you want to work on the project?" he asked.
"Y-your place," I said. There was no way he could come to my house without him finding out my secret. The bell then rang. I quickly ran out of the classroom after getting my things. I was desperate to get away from Ryder.
I went straight to my locker to put my things away. Luckily I have a free period next so I don't worry about running into Ryder and his gang. Though I completely forgot about Christina because right as I got to my locker I noticed her standing there.
"Hey slut!" she yelled in my ear. She punched me. The bitched actually punched me. I was so close to losing my temper. She then said, "I told you to stay away from Ryder." She and her little followers started beating me up. Of course, I didn't feel anything but I had to pretend to be in a lot of pain.
Luckily three minutes later the bell rang and they stopped and walked to class. After I knew they were gone I quickly left the school and went the Underground. The Underground is the place I fight at.
