Zero smiled gently at the hero. Finally. It's all over. Nyx gave one of his own smiles as he limped over to him.
"It's over..." he breathlessly stated embracing the other "I can't believe it."
Zero chuckled and pulled back from the hug all of a sudden. Nyx stared quizzily at him and opened his mouth to speak, only to find an equally warm pair of lips kissing his own. Nyx remained wide-eyed for a second before kissing back gently while tears of happiness tumbled down his face.
They won. Gained their freedom. Found love. And nobody was ever gonna take that away from them.
