**Uraraka's POV**

A few days had passed since the first basic training with All Might. We continued to have our average classes: Algebra, Japanese language and culture, science, and history. It also got the point where it was Deku, Iida, and myself sitting at a lunch table, as well as Asui, or Su, as she preferred, and Yaoyorozu. We had some...interesting times during that period.

But one day, we got what I thought at first to be an exciting surprise.

"Today we will be going on a field trip to the USJ." Said Mr. Aizawa with his usual expressionless face.

Everyone lit up with excitement and anxiousness. "We will be doing some rescue exercises. You must remember that being a hero isn't all about brute strength." He said, giving Bakugo a look for no particular reason.

I looked over at Deku and even he had a smile on his face. I loved his smile. So warm and comforting. I began daydreaming and didn't realize that Ashido was speaking to me.

"Uh, Uraraka? Why is your face getting so red?" She asked me with a concerned expression. I snapped out of my trance and felt my face. Oh no! I thought to myself. My face was as hot as boiling water, and now that I realized it, my face got even hotter and redder. I quickly turned away from Ashido towards the back of the room. "Oh, i-its nothing Ashido. Just uhh, daydreaming, that's all." I said in a panic. Coming up with an excuse was a lot more difficult than I thought.

Ashido got this huge, devious smile on her face. "Whatcha thinking about, huh?" She said as she walked around to get a better look at my face. "N-nothing! Nothing at all!" I said as I waved my hands at her in a frenzy. "Were you thinking about Izuku over there?" She responded all the while her big smile was getting larger and larger. Great. I thought, As if my face wasn't already red enough as it is!

However, our conversation was interrupted by Mr. Aizawa, much to Ashido's dismay. "Ashido, Uraraka! Pay attention. You're going to want to hear this." He said. I was just glad that he stopped us. I didn't know how I was going to get out of that one.

"There will be several rescue areas set up around the USJ. Your task will be to rescue as many 'civilians' as possible in the time allotted to you." Mr. Aizawa explained. "This trip will be overseen by All Might, pro hero Thirteen, and myself."

Yes! Thirteen is my favorite hero! I thought to myself. I want to become a rescue hero more than a combat hero. I've never been that good at hand-hand combat. And Thirteen is the best rescue hero there is!

When we got to the USJ, the teachers overseeing the exercise were supposed to be there waiting for us. Mr. Aizawa was there, and Thirteen, but All Might was not. I wonder where he is?

I looked over at Deku and he had a worried expression on his face. Like he knew where All Might was, bit still worried about him. I wish I could cheer him up. But I'm just as tense.

Thirteen broke the tension wafting around in the air. "Hello children. As you have probably already guessed, I am the pro hero Thirteen. My quirk is Black Hole. I can absorb anything and break it down to a molecular level." Thirteen explained. I'm not really sure whether or not Thirteen is a guy or a girl. Mr. Aizawa took over and started explaining the different rescue areas.

But just as Mr. Aizawa finished, something terrible began to occur.

This weird portal-like object appeared and several people stepped out of it. A slender man with what looked like hands grabbing his head in various places, an shadowy entity that I wasn't entirely sure was a person at all, and a tall, stocky creature that was rather ugly.

Mr. Aizawa's eyes widened. "Villians?" He murmured. "This is bad. Really bad." He had a tone of panic in his voice.

Then the man with the hands on his head spoke. "Well that's disappointing. We only came so we could kill All Might. But I guess you all will have to do." He spoke with a certain maliciousness in his voice. It sent shivers down my spine.

"Iida. I need you to run for help. Run to the school and inform them of our situation." Said Mr. Aizawa. "Okay." Iida responded. He put on a brave face, but there was uneasiness in his voice that I think anyone could have detected.

"I'll handle these guys." Thirteen stepped on towards the villains and activated their quirk. The villians however, were not deterred by their quirk and just blew them away with sheer force. Then Mr. Aizawa stepped in. He began to battle with the villians at a heart-stopping rate. We students decided that it was best if a couple of us and I take Thirteen to a safer location. While Deku, Bakugo, and a few others stayed to try and help, despite our protests against the idea.

While the fight progressed, we managed to get Thirteen to higher ground. Iida had managed to escape and ran to the school to get help. Meanwhile Deku and the others were busy fighting the villians.

I watched Deku fight. He was giving it his all. I could see several of his fingers were different shades of purple. He was acting like he was a pro hero himself, even though he wasn't. He is so brave.

Maybe that's why I fell in love with him. Oh! This is no time to think about that! I thought as my face was shaded with red. I continued to watch Deku get repeatedly pushed back by the villians. He was struggling. I wasn't sure how much more of this he could take.

If only All Might were here.

Just then Iida returned with some great news. He brought reinforcements. Then we heard the familiar catchphrase of a certain pro hero.

"Do not worry students! Because I am here!"

All Might jumped in from the outside and landed with a huge crash and left a crater in the ground. He brought along some other staff members to help us with Thirteen and some of the other injured students. We were escorted out while All Might kept the villians busy.

20 minutes later

The rumbling had stopped. I seems like the fighting was over. My hope was confirmed when I saw Deku stumbling out along with the other students that stayed and tried to help.

I began to feel water coming out of my eyes and my hands and legs trembling. I ran to him and threw my arms around his neck. He winced. "Oh I'm sorry Deku. I was just so worried about you and-" I was stopped by his finger on my lips, hushing me.

"Its okay Uraraka. I'm okay now. Recovery Girl fixed me up." He said with a smile.

I laughed and wiped the tears from my eyes. "Yea. You're right."

We all walked back to the school, attempting to put everything that just happened behind us.

And Deku held my hand on the way back!
