Don't You Know that House is Haunted?

My name is Kathy. I moved from Las Vegas to some random town in the middle of nowhere because my mother had to get away from my father who spent all of our healthcare checks on gambling even though he has the worst poker face in the world. Our new house had to be on the top of a huge hill that no one ever wanted to go on because it was supposed to be a haunted house. Of course because I get easily scared watching ghost stories and paranormal stuff my older brother keeps creeping around every corner trying to scare me. We had only been in there for a short amount of time and he already is having a party from all the kids in school. Great idea if you want to be that idiot whose brother invited everyone and you stayed upstairs in your bedroom.

It was the night of the party and no one showed up. My brother was totally pisssed and said that it was all my fault. I didn't know why no one showed up but I hoped they got here soon. I locked myself in my bedroom and stared at the wall. My phone started to ring that annoying tune from star wars and I saw my father was calling me.

"Hey dad."

"Kathy, where are you?"

"In some town in the middle of no where."

"Where?" he seemed to be persistent.

"I don't know mom drove us here in a hurry. I didn't see any sign."

"Your mother is with me."

The phone died and left me hearing the annoying ring that screamed turn off your phone. I peeked down the stairs to see my 'mother' sitting on the couch channel surfing. I slipped by the living room door and snuck out the door. On the porch right by the steps I saw my brothers body dripping with blood. As you would assume I ran as fast as I could and zoomed down the hill away from whoever was pretending to be my mother. At the foot of the hill she stood ten feet tall with red eyes and pointed teeth stained with blood, my brothers blood. I saw a figure behind her carrying a two by four. It was swung at the things head and made her fall. I ran towards the yelling figure.

"What is wrong with you girl, don't you know that house is haunted?"
