A couple decided to leave their three kids with a baby sitter for a whole week while they went on a cruise for their tenth anniversary. The babysitter they choose was very sick and in need of money. The last night before the parents were supposed to come home the babysitter got terribly ill and couldn't get out of bed. He put the eldest, Rachel, incharge of her two annoying little brothers Alex and Heath.

Friday night, Rachel was preparing dinner for everyone when a knock on the door tore her away from the stove. She went to check who it was, but when she opened the door there was no one there. She looked around to see if anyone was out there; she jumped when she heard a snap of a twig from the forest on the west side of the house. "Alex, Heath I'll be right back, I have to go check something." She grabbed her Aunt's blanket, draped it over her shoulders and left.

It was dark in the forest and Rachel forgot to grab her flashlight. She walked into a clearing where the blanket flew off of her arms onto the ground. She chased after it but it didn't get far, it was caught on someone's legs. He was about eight feet tall and wore a black cloak; he kind of looked like the grim reaper. She went to pick up her blanket when she realized that she walked all the way around into the east forest, the one that her mother warned them to stay out of.

The story about her missing Aunt Gracie happened right here, in this clearing. Her mother and her aunt loved playing in this part of the woods. It was perfect for hiding from people you don't want finding you. One day when they were playing a man approached them that Rachel's mother described exactly like this one. Her mother admitted that she was a scaredy cat and ran back to the house. Her mother stopped when she heard a scream that made her turn around in spite of her fear. Her sister could not be found, only her blanket was left on the forest floor. Her aunt was never seen again. And this wasn't the only story in this house that led to this blanket being the only thing that was left. It was also called the blanket of the Grim Reaper, named by the only person who had ever been able to escape this devil.

Rachel was on her knees about to pick up the blanket when the man picked her up by the neck and threw her to the ground. She tried to crawl away but the man grabbed her legs, took a rock and knocked her unconscious. When she woke up she was dangling upside down in a tree. She was unable to wiggle free or speak. She wished that her family would be safe from the mysterious man. Thinking of her family, she wiggled around so that she would be facing her house. When she saw it, she was baffled. It was consumed with fire coming out of every window. The flames looked like Burnt Alaska pouring out of the house. Rachel remembered just then that she had left the stove on when she went to check who was at the door. She scanned around to see if her brothers had made it out but she blacked out from being light headed.

When their parents came home they found their house was ash. Their children were no where to be found. The firefighters said they must not have made it out in time to escape the propane tank blowing up. They never gave up hoping their children were still alive somewhere in a hospital unconscious. After three months of searching they gave up only able to find Aunt Gracie's blanket in the same exact clearing that she disappeared. Rachel was left dangling in the trees surrounded by her aunt and every other person who was foolish enough to go into that forest.
