Darts & Bayards - Klance

Pure exhaustion was displayed and each of the paladin's faces, their mission to recover Galra prisoner files but that led to the loss of the Blue paladins Bayard and with no surprise, he wasn't hesitant to blame it on his rival Keith.

Lance bursts into the control room, storming past everyone and straight towards the red paladin, during that mission Lance lost his Bayard and wasn't happy, he's not sure who's fault it was but he bet it was Keith's.

"this is all your fault" Lance accused Keith as he gives him a shove making Keith stumble back in surprise

Keith manages to recover his balance before yelling back at the blue paladin "my fault?!"

"yes your fault" Lance pokes Keith in the chest.

Keith flails his arms up in the air to retort "if you didn't throw it into that worm hole you wouldn't have lost it"

"I'll throw you in a worm hole" Lance screams back.

both Blue and Red paladin's faces were inches apart out of frustration and throwing stupid arguments back and forth at each other.

"Lance, Keith, both of you, settle down" Shiro but in between the two separating them.

"Keith started it" Lance yelled pointing towards Keith.

"Keith this, Keith that," Keith tried to mimic Lance "your so childish, do you ever shut up" Keith had had it with Lance, he blamed everything on him, without hesitation, all Keith wanted to do was get to know Lance, but Lance has made that very difficult for him.

"THAT'S ENOUGH! all you two do it fight" Shiro yelled shutting both of the younger paladins up.

Keith and Lance were shocked, they both looked at each other with a worried glance. Shiro always got frustrated at them but he never, NEVER yelled at them like this.

Lance smirked at Keith, he was going to say something stupid back at Shiro.

"Don't" Keith mouthed to Lance. Lance just brushed off Keith's warning.

"what are you going to do about it? send us to our rooms?" Lance said sarcastically rolling his eyes.

Shiro scratched his chin "maybe I will" he smirks back wiping the smile off Lance's face.

Keith sighs "I can't take this anymore" he says to himself as he starts to leave the room, he gets that him and Lance fight a lot, but what he doesn't get is why Lance pushes further than it should be.

Lances eyes follow him as he walks past "hey where do you think you're going" called out to Keith.

"away from you" Keith called back smiling to himself.

Keith walked up to Pidge's door and softly knocked. Pidge was like a close sibling to him, Keith always went to her for help, he's not an emotional guy but when he needed he would just talk to her, not necessarily about that subject but he would just talk, and she did the same thing, talked to Keith about how much she missed her family. and they both listened to each other.

The door slowly opened revealing a small girl with short messy brown hair and a pair of round specks sitting in the bridge of her nose.

"hmmm" she says looking down at her bare wrist as if she was looking at a watch "I don't think you have booked an appointment Mr. Kogane"

"Well, Dr. Holt I thought that you could make an exception" he says holding his hands together behind his back, his gaze trailing along the cold metal ground waiting for a response.

they fall silent, their eye meeting.

Pidge bursts out laughing, Keith smiles. "so I take that as a yes then?"

wiping away her tears of laughter she opens her door further inviting the red paladin into her room, Keith smiles and walks in taking a seat on her bed facing her desk, he always enjoyed their little jokes.

"so....." Pidge said sitting in her desk chair "what brings you here to my office today?"

but before Keith could answer she buts in again "wait let me guess" she smirks and raises her eyebrows "do you wanna tell me a bit of goss goss about your boyyyyyfriennndd Lance" she giggles making Keith go bright red.

Keith covers his face with his hands to try and hide his embarrassment "I-I-I uhhh no its not like that" he tries to hide it but he does have a small soft spot for the Blue paladin but nothing more.

Pidge just rolls her eyes "so have you told him about the undying love you have for him?" she laughs. she knows exactly how to get to Keith, and she defiantly knows that soft spot Keith has for Lance is more like a little crush.

Keith face is still bright red "Pidge" he says seriously giving her hints to stop.

she holds her arms up in defence "okay okay, I'll stop.... when Klance becomes a ship" she whispers the last part.

Keith didn't quite hear what she said "huh what was that last part?" he questions.

"ohhh nothing" she giggles.

Keith decides to shake it off.

"so what did you actually come to me for, if your not gonna talk about, you know, Lance" Pidge questions adjusting her glasses.

Keith totally got distracted by Pidge teasing him that he forgot what he came to her for.

"well" Keith says sheepishly scratching the back of his neck "It's about Lance"
