Lady Justice isn't blind.
She just refuses to see,
Smugly smirking as her rigged scales sway from side to side,
Hiding her sight in the safety of darkness.
After all, you can't fix something you refuse to notice is broken.Lady Justice isn't blind.
She just refuses to see,
So the masses clamored to the foot of the building she perched herself on top of.
They're determined to scale the walls of the building
And rip away her blindfold,
Shine the light of truth she desperately attempts to evade.Lady Justice isn't blind.
But one day we'll make her open her eyes,
And the scales will fall away
As she faces the dilapidated state of her beloved system. Then she'll have to get off her perch and actually do some work.
One day.
