"Are you ready mother?" I asked. She nodded her head and we both walked out the front door and down the walk-way. We began to walk on the sidewalk toward the house until I froze.

I stood there, completely shocked. I wasn't able to believe my eyes.

This isn't real, it just can't be.

This wasn't happening, visions of my reoccuring nightmare flashed in my mind. The darkness, the dim light, the ground breaking like glass but most of all the girl.

It seemed like she was standing right there in the middle of the yard. It appeared to be that she was staring at the house that was next to mine.

"Chris, are you okay?" my mom asked. I had fallen into complete silence and all I could do was nod my head.

I couldn't tell her what was going on in my head. She would more than likely think that I was insane.

But the same figure stood before me. Her black hair stopped at the spot, and her figure was exactly the same. It was the girl from my nightmare.

I'm insane, aren't I? Probably.

Okay Chris, calm the fuck down.

We continued to walk toward the direction of the house. My heart was pounding in my ears as we grew closer to the house.

The movers were unloading boxes from the truck and into the house.

There was a bald man in talking to one of the movers. He wore black pants with a dark blue polo shirt.

Next to him was a beautiful woman with soft caramel skin, and she worn a similar dark blue dress.

But back to the girl, her back was still towards me so I couldn't see her face, but she was wearing a dark grey long sleeve shirt and black jeans with black and white Vans.

A famliar fear came over me was we approach them. It was the same sick feeling I would get in my dream just as I was to tap the girl. Maybe I was afraid that she would disappear just like in my dreams.

We stepped closer to him when my mom's grin grew wide. The whole family turned around as the heard us approach them. My heart seriously felt like it had stopped for a moment.

The girl was beautiful. She had a heart-shaped face with these piercing grey eyes and rosy pink cheeks that stood out from her pale skin.

Saying she was beautiful was an understatment.

I looked away from the the girl and to the man that had the same color eyes so I only assumed that that was her father. I then looked at the woman and I noitced that she looked nothing like the girl.

"Chelsea?" I heard my mom asked.

Who the fuck is Chelsea?

"Monica?" the woman replied before she ran up to my mom and hugged her.

They hugged one another while mumbling to each other, something I wasn't able to make out.

I just stood there, trying to figure out what just happened. Finally they released one other and spoke in words that I could understand.

"I haven't seen you in such a long time," my mom said. " I know, it is a delight moving here, right next to you!" the woman said.

They both walked over to me and I just stood there, not knowing what was going on. Maybe this is a nightmare, a very very strange one.

"You must be Chris," the woman said before she hugged me. And then ,again, I felt so uncomfortable, but thankfully is didn't last long.

"Chris, this is Monica, we went to college together," my mom explained to me.  "Good to know," I replied as I took a step back.
