Gus joined in to help us build that morning. Block after block after block went down as time flew away like a bird. By noon a perimeter fence circled the now gargantuan cabin.

"Well Ovbere and I need to go and return these wheelbarrows Gus. Stay here and keep warm. This winter weather is freezing."
"Yeah, I'll be fine. I don't even have to leave. Alright... well goodbye and get back as soon as you can."

"We built that extension pretty quick Jack."
"Yeah and just think, no zombies hitting against our door everynight and we can fall asleeep with both eyes!"
"Well now we are here, Camp Tundra. It's quite a nice place if I'm honest. Not as good as the old house."
"I suppose so but things have changed."
"Yeah, we better hurry, that cloud looks nasty."
A couple of snowdrops fell on our head as we approached the gate.

As we stepped out of the lumberjack's house we found ourselves covered in snow.
"We can't get home tonight Jack, this sudden blizzard would freeze us."
"Is there any nearby inns?"
"Yes, the best is the Excalibur! Not far, maybe a minute."
"What choice do we have?"

"Any rooms free?"
"Nope, sorry. They're all taken. Must be the blizzard..."
"Oh, thanks anyways."
"Where else can we stay Ovbere?"
"It's a small town, this is the only inn."
"Maybe we should just walk home, it may be freezing but we can do it..."
"Fine, I suppose so..."

With our heads dropped, we stumbled out of the inn.
"Hold up, Jack wait!"
My head twisted round to see Andrew.
"I have a room to stay in. You and your friend. Who is he?"
"I'm Ovbere!"
"You're alive? Well anyway come to my room. We can catch up in there."

We chatted in the room for at least three hours in front of the fire.
"Do you know where anyone else is Andrew?"
"Yes I do... Jack... Laura is alive!"
