Monica's P.O.V.

Ring! Ring! Riiing!

I slammed my fist at the alarm.

Ugh.School. I groaned loudly. When will this nightmare of a school year end... before it even starts.

I grumbled under my breath as I dragged my lazy butt to my walk-in closet.

Yes,a walk-in closet for a nerd, how come? My mom is Dawn Summers, a famous fashion designer with big and expensive clothing lines. While my dad, Richard Anderson owns a lot of companies around the world.

I don't mean to brag but we're rich, I just don't wanna admit the fact that money got into my parents' heads causing me to be left with my nana.

I picked a simple outfit. It was a purple and pink random striped tank topped off with a sweater, paired with my usual jeans and of course, my beanie.

I took a shower and let myself melt in the goodness of the water against my skin.

Okay, maybe I was literally drowning myself in the tub but what's the big lavender tub doing in my en suite for then? Decoration?

I finally got out of the luxurious tub and dried myself up. I dressed up and dried my hair.

When my hair was dry enough for me, I put it in a bun leaving two wavy strands of hair at either sides of my hair for a little touch up.

I put on my white TOMS and grabbed my glasses from atop the dresser.

I didn't bother with makeup, like seriously, who needs to cake your own face if you know that you're just going to school?

Believe me, I can be as fashionable as Tyra Banks, but girl I ain't going at a fashion show, I'm going to school.

I grabbed my backpack at the corner near my en suite bathroom.

I jogged downstairs and went straight to the kitchen, where I was greeted by the fresh aroma of pancakes and bacon.

"G'morning nana!" I chirped while sitting down on a bar stool at the marble island.

"Good Morning dear. Ready for your first day?" My nana replied I nodded.

My nana's been my babysitter literally since I was born. Yet, I prefer to know her as my mother more than my real one.

Just to explain, my parent's were never there for me. In good times, nor in bad ones. They don't even bother attending my graduation. Maybe even on my wedding, but that's too early for me to be thinking 'bout.

"C'mon eat your breakfast. You don't wanna be late on your first day of sophomore year, now would you?" I shook my head and grabbed my plate.

I ate as fast as I could and grabbed my backpack and bid my nana goodbye.

I went to the garage got my Porsche's keys and got in my white car.

I buckled up and started driving off to school.

I arrived at school and parked my car as close as I could to the buildings doors.

I locked my car and swifted off in the building jamming my hands in my pockets while my earphones boomed my favorite song list. I hummed with the songs...

I arrived at my locker shoving the stuff I need for first period in my purple backpack.

Just when I was about to lock my locker, someone tapped me.

I turned around to see a guy I've never seen before, smiling at me with a heart warming smile.

"Hey! I'm Brandon. I was wondering if you could take me to my classes, since we're locker neighbors."

"Yeah, sure. Just wait a sec" I turned around, locked my locker and looked back at Brandon.

"Lemme look at your timetable." He handed it to me, I glanced at it.

"Lucky guy, we have the same classes except," I paused "5th period." I grinnned towards him.

"Cool. Cute dimples" he grinned back.

I was flustered at his words but muttered a quick thanks as my cheeks were beginning to turn pink.

We walked to our first class and sat at the back of the class, ignoring the stares we were getting since we walked into the room.

As Mr. Walter walked in, he did the usual greeting and carried on in a boring lecture, silently making me yawn.

"Hey, wanna talk while this boring lecture goes on?" Brandon said from beside me.

"Finally. Another one of my kind." I sighed dramatically and silently, making Brandon chuckle.

During the whole class we talked about each other. He probably knows every single thing that happens to me everyday... well almost.

The whole day went on like a blur, considering Brandon and I talked through it.

Apparently, talking to him isn't as boring as I thought it would be.

Cause, I thought that all he'd talk about is football, video games and how he hates shopping. But, he talks about himself.

I even wondered if he was gay... knowing he was so good in handling conversations with girls.

Brandon James Carson, are you gay?... I thought to myself.

"What? No!" Brandon said

Shiitakee, did I say that aloud.

"Yep. You did"

"Sorry Brandon, I thought about it coz' apparently you know how to handle a convo with girls... not bore them to death."

"Yeah. I think my sisters helped me with that" he slightly chuckled in relief.

"Oh right. Would you fancy me dr-"

I was cut off by the bell ringing.

We immediately took our bags and marched out of the classroom.

"So what were you gonna say Mony?" Brandon asked me once we were out of class.

"Right. I was gonna ask if you wanted me to drive you home and we could hang for a bit."

"Uh. Sorry Mony. I promised mom I'd be home before dinner."

"It's alright. Let's get to class. We don't wanna be late, now do we?"

We stopped by our lockers and proceeded on walking to class.

3@3@3@  LUNCH @3@3@3@

"You know you're not as bad as everyone thinks." Brandon started as we sat down on our table.

"Thanks for making me feel good by saying that." I say as sarcasm starts to splatter on my voice.

When Brandon and I were about to go out of the cafeteria, a certain someone blocked us.
