"Hey what's wrong over there", asked Steve when he heard a mug of tea shuttered down, look what
we got over here, Hey babe get over here you'll clean that later, please meet my brother Malcolm,
said Steve. Lauretta was in shock, she was even shaking, but she got strong and gathered strength to
conduct herself right.

"Hey Malcolm, meet my now officially girlfriend, see this is the girl I was telling you about the other
day, you know what they say, we find love in hopeless places", Steve said smiling going toward
Lauretta. "Hey Lauretta, nice knowing you, I've heard lots about you", said Malcolm to Lauretta.
Lauretta replied, nice knowing you too, but Steve never mentioned you, I'm sorry dear. So the two
lovers from way back just pretended not to know each other.

There was plenty of tension in the
atmosphere. Steve didn't pick their odd and strange behaviour
Steve invited Malcolm to the kitchen. Lauretta offered to make them tea, she was feeling
remorseful, she was not happy on how things are going, the day before she almost got caught, she
slept with Malcolm, and then the last night, she spent a night with Steve.

She brought them tea, sat beside Steve, Malcolm mood changed and he kept quiet, watching
Lauretta being all sweet to Steve, a thought of telling Steve the truth almost got him. But he didn't
react. When they were drinking tea, a call came through, Steve was being requested at the hospital
by the delivery guy, he wanted a certain medicine so he was to go there and give the delivery guy
some meds then come back. "See guys I have to go the hospital it's an emergency, I'll be back soon,
and if I take long, Malcolm take my other car and take Lauretta home" said Steve. Lauretta rebutted
the idea and said that she'll take a taxi and that's if Steve take too long.

The moment Steve leaves, Malcolm started to insult Lauretta " you slut why are you here, you
should be away from my brother, you now know that we are brothers but you screwing us both"
said Malcolm furiously and filled with jealousy and confusion . " hey Malcolm, please don't start with
me, this was your whole idea, you knew before I did about this triangle, who did you tell?" said
Lauretta shouting unto him.

They exchanged words for some time, nobody bothered to check if Steve's car was gone, he only left
the house, the delivery guy called him to tell him that his other colleague got there so there was no
need for Steve to be there.
When they were busy still insulting each other, he just appeared there, Lauretta was the first to see
him, she dropped a tear, sat down and cry, Malcolm was on a side which Malcolm could not see, so
he continued talking " please stop pretending, we know you don't love him, you love me, you always
loved me.

As he was talking, she was crying so pitifully, sobbing and showing all signs of regrets, she said to
him, you might wann look back. And when he turned around he saw Steve just standing there, so
angry he was like a Lion before it skin its prey, holding his keys and some papers, his wrath was like
nothing that Malcolm ever seen since they were young, shaking.
Malcolm just looked at him as he heart starts to beat faster and faster, a dark cloud was just above
all the great atmosphere that was in that house before Steve said to leave for work
