Speaking of Wonder Woman, let's talk about her. Wonder Woman is considered one of the greatest superheroines of all time. And she was one of the best parts about BvS. I know a lot of people that love her, idolize her, look up to her as a strong female role model. My dad had a total crush on her when he was younger. In my opinion, the best people that have portrayed her so far are Susan Eisenberg (no relation to Jesse. She voiced her in the 2001 cartoon) and Gal Gadot. I remember when she was first cast, people were ballistic! They said she'd fuck it up. Imagine how wrong they were. When I saw the first image, I saw a fierce strong warrior, exactly the way I imagine an Amazon from Themyscira would look like. I saw Wonder Woman, and I loved it. Gal Gadot did an outstanding job, and her solo film is the best DC film ever, superior to Man of Steel! I decided to draw her for a friend, and decided to be unique. I based it off Gal's portrayal, while thinking of more Greek mythology, hence the skirt and red open toed sandals. I'd love to see a design like this in a movie or cartoon in the near future. It'd be a unique take.
