"Doctor...where is Sanyukta?" "How is she?" Randhir asked
"She is fine" "She is lab for some tests" "Will join us soon" Doctor said
"Anything serious doctor?" Randhir asked
"Not at all" Doctor said
"Sanyukta is not just my patient but my very dear friend"
"We have got along really well in these four months" "You know, I always used to ask her about you" "She always replied "He will come one day" with a smile"
"She is the one who helped me in my personal issues as well" "My husband and I are together today because of her" "For our kids betterment..." "In 10 years of my work, I have never come across a person like Sanyukta" "She is such a humble and beautiful human being" "A very positive and always hopeful person" Doctor said
"She wanted you to be her side in this Mr. Shekhawat" Doctor said
"I know..." Randhir admitted and looked down in guilt.
"I am glad you came here Mr. shekhawat" Doctor said
"Sanyukta is fine now..." "Her efforts didn't go waste" "She can conceive now..." Doctor said
"Really...." Randhir beamed in happiness.
"She doesn't know it, I want you to tell her this Mr. Shekhawat" Doctor said
"Thank you doctor..." "Sanyukta will be very happy knowing this" Randhir chirped in happiness
"And you?" Doctor asked
"I am very happy..." Randhir's eyes became moist. "I am very happy for you two..." "All the very best..." Doctor said
"Thanks doctor..." Randhir chirped.
"Here she is...come Sanyukta" Doctor said
"Randhir..." Sanyukta mumbled.
"Finally I met your husband Sanyukta" Dr. Catherine said
Sanyukta looked at her.
"I came here to pick you..." Randhir said
She looked at him.
Soon they were on the way to home.
"Thank you" She chirped
He looked at her.
"Why?" He looked in front again.
"For coming to hospital..." She said
"To pick me ..." She added further.
"I was done with my work so thought I should check..." He said
She smiled.
"Your doctor is really good" Randhir said
"Yeah, Catherine is an excellent doctor" Sanyukta said
"Glad I met her..." He said
"But how did you meet her...I mean...?" She said
"I was checking for your at reception..." "They told me your are in lab for some tests...and asked me to wait" "Then Dr. Catherine came there..." "I told her I am your husband and she wanted to talk with me" Randhir said
"What did you talk?" She asked him.
"About you..." Randhir said
The car stop at their house.
Sanyukta was about to step out of the car but Randhir stopped her.
"Biwi suno..." He said
She looked at him.
"It's our first anniversary today..." "Can we go somewhere" He said
"Where?" she asked him.
"At our guest house... " Randhir asked
She smiled.
"Okay..." She mumbled.
Randhir drove the car to their farm house.
Their farm house is situated in the outskirts of Toronto city.
"I wish Maa Papa were with us" Sanyukta said
"It's our first anniversary..." He reminded her.
"Yeah but..." "A celebration is incomplete without family..." She said
"All our celebrations will now be a huge one. I promise" He said
"Yeah..." She said
She was adoring the nature from the balcony of the room.
The temperature was dropping slowly.
Randhir came and covered her with a shawl.
"Thanks..." she said
"It's a year...I can't believe this" He said
She looked at him.
"One year passed..." "But it feels like...it just happened yesterday" She said
He locked his hand with hers.
"So much happened in this one year..." "From beings strangers to now...a happy couple..." He said
Sanyukta's eyes were moist.
"But still we are incomplete..." She said.
Randhir understood the depth of her words.
"Then let's get complete..." He said
She looked at him.
He held her shoulders and turned her.
"What..." "What did you say..." Her eyes were watery.
Randhir cupped her face and place a kiss on her forehead.
"Your faith has won..." "God has listened to your prayers..." "You are fine now..." "and now we can have OUR BABY..." Randhir told her.
"Really...." She asked
Randhir nodded.
"I had a word with the doctor Sanyukta..." "Your reports are fine...and doctor confirmed that you can conceive now..." "We can have our baby, our family..." He said
Sanyukta started crying.
Randhir took her into his embrace.
"I am sorry Biwi...." "I am really sorry..." "Jab tumhe meri zaroorat thi...main nahi tha waha pe..." He said
"But meri fikar toh phir bhi karte the aap"
"Chup chup ke mere reports check karna..."
"Muje dawai dena..."
"Maa se mere baare main puchna..." "Raat ko muje aapne paas lena..." She said
Randhir smiled listening her words.
"Main aapse gussa nahi hu..." "Kyuki main janti hu aap mujse bohot pyaar karte ho muje khona nahi chahte" She said
"Main darrta tha Sanyukta..." He said
"I am really sorry..." He said further.
"Don't say sorry..." "and..." She stopped in middle.
"And make up for it..." she blushed profusely.
"I will compensate for everything Biwi..." He giggled.
He hugged her more tightly while she absorbed in his arms.
