Sanyukta got shock of her life.
Divorce?
Harsh wants her to divorce Randhir.
She couldn't believe nor react anything.
"Don't get me wrong Sanyukta"
"But this is the only way left I think..." "Randhir and you should get separated"
"Not because of anything else but...you deserve happiness in life" "Please Sanyukta..."
"Think about it..."
"Kya tum puri zindagi aaisi hi rahogi ?" Harsh said
"Papa...main yeh nahi kar sakti..."
"I can't..."
"This is a huge step...no Papa...I can't..." "I love Randhir"
"How am I going to divorce him Papa?" She said
"But he doesn't care of anything Sanyukta"
"And to be honest he needs to be left alone..."
"Beta...I just want your happiness"
"I want to see you happy" "Isliye keh raha hu....in papers pe sign kar do" Harsh said
"No Papa..." "I can't sign papers" "And...what about my Maa and Papa" "Woh...tut jayenge" Sanyukta said
"I will come to India and talk to them Sanyukta"
"You don't worry..."
"Main unse baat karunga, unse maafi mangunga"
"Bas...sign kar do inn papers pe" Harsh said
Sanyukta nodded in NO.
"Main unse pyaar karti hu Papa...yeh nahi kar sakti" She said
"Par woh tumhare pyaar ke layak nahi hai Sanyukta" Harsh said
"Sanyukta...this is for your betterment beta.."
"For your bright future..." "sign it..." Harsh said
He handed the file to Sanyukta.
Sanyukta took the file with shaking hands.
She opened the file and was taken into flashback.
*flashback*
"Aab Vaar vadhu ka gathbandhan kare" the priest said
Anju came forward.
She tied a knot of their marriage.
*flashback ends*
Sanyukta wiped her tears.
"Sanyukta..." Harsh said
"Nahi Papa...." She cried
Harsh caress her head.
She took pen from his hand.
*flashback*
Randhir filled Sanyukta's parting with vermilion.
He then tied mangalsutra around her neck.
She looked at him.
He looked at her.
They passed a smile.
*flashback ends*
Her hands were still shivering.
"Nahi...." She cried bitterly.
She closed her eyes and let some drops of tears escaped.
She remember every incident that took place after their marriage.
Randhir's ignorance.
His non acceptance.
His words.
His behaviour towards her.
Everything came to her.
That gave her strength to take this decision.
She opened her eyes and wiped her tears.
"Aapki khushi mere saath nahi hai Randhir"
"Par main aapko humesha khush dekhna jati hu" She mumbled in heart.
She signed the papers.
She closed the file and gave it back to Harsh.
Sometime later.
It was now time to leave for airport.
Sanyukta collected all her belongings and now it was time to leave.
She checked their room.
Each and every corner of room has some memories attached with it.
Her eyes brimmed with tears as she was seeing her little world - their room for last time.
She climbed down and now was looking at her house for the last time.
She took blessings from Harsh and Renuka.
Renuka was in tears.
Renuka and Sanyukta shared a hug.
"Maa...aapna khayal rakhiye.." She said
Renuka couldn't say anything.
"Come Sanyukta..."
"We should move now..." Harsh said
Harsh and Renuka dropped Sanyukta to the airport.
Flight was scheduled on time.
Sanyukta started going inside.
Renuka couldn't control her tears.
Harsh consoled her.
Sanyukta stopped in middle.
She wanted to turn back in a hope.
Hope to find Randhir.
There was little hope left in her heart.
Randhir will come and stop her from going.
"Nahi Sanyukta, no...don't stop" Her heart said
"It will be tough for you if you turn back Sanyukta" Her heart warned her.
She followed her heart and went inside.
The door closed behind.
